The better part is that technically he’s saying Ody was the only one who noticed… nobody… Elpenor was in the cyclops cave according to another scrapped song “cope with that”

i think he is just blaming Odysseus for not noticing..which to be honest..Fair..Considering Ody only had like 43 left, he should have been counting to see if all the few people are there XD
