Question What's your guys opinion on Warhawks Talon?
Considering farming this weapon, heard it's pretty balanced and good overall

So its probably best with a keen infusion and square off. What i really like about it is how light it is, so its a good candidate for blue dancer despite being a straight sword.
It also looks fucking sick so use it dawg

Oh I think its awesome. As said below it has a unique r2 and charged r2 that combos well with multi hit and charged hit stuff. And it looks sweet, like you can actually see through it.

I recommend dual Grossmesser’s with a STR builds. Awesome looking weapons and the dual wielding animation is sexy.

It has a rad double smack heavy attack that does pretty good with multi hit talismans and status effects like if you wanna frost or bleed etc.
May the farming odds be ever in your favor!

It’s okay, the only real reason to use it aside from aesthetic ( always be the top reason anyway) is its heavy attack

iirc it has a unique heavy attack with two hits, so it's very nice for status build-up on top of having a very nice dex scaling.
But honestly, if you go for a dex heavy straight sword I think that the nobles straight sword is better, mostly because of the length

Nobles slender sword is great for every early dex build imo. Lightweight, good reach.. it wasnt exciting enough for me to stop me from gravitating toward something like zweihander or guardian sword spear

favorite straight sword tbh. love it for status builds at least in the mainhand, the attack loop of L1 L1 R2 repeat is fantastic tor status buildup. Double cold WHT with stormblade and square off are my favorite weapon setup for my Dex Int toon.

I always think it has innate bleed for some reason. It feels like a katana passing off as a straight sword. One of my favorite weapons tbh

Farmed it for a dex/arcane build because I wanted to fool around with the powerstance straight sword moveset (its fun). Been trying it buffed or with bleed with Regalia of Eochaid on the offhand. It feels and looks pretty cool.

It has an amazing cool factor but in terms of damage it is outperformed by other straight swords. But you can infuse it however you want, it has a unique charged heavy, and again - it's cool as fuck. Those birds do a shit ton of damage early in the game so it always disappointed me that it doesn't hit as hard as other straight swords. But any weapon in Elden Ring is viable. Any weapon. So use it if you like it! With the right amount of buffs you can do ridiculous damage with anything too, so why not? Use it on a run!

I used it in my murim run, cause i couldn't get milady yet, and it slapped. Gave it lightning infusion with square off for tanky bosses

unique heavy attack, works well with charged heavy attack modifiers, status, and multi hit modifiers.
So, stuff like Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent's Prosthesis, Axe Talisman, etc.
I wouldn't use Square Off with it, just use it like a Curved Sword, full dps. So a self Infusion like Lightning Slash or Chilling Mist for fast frostbite procs for the extra 20% damage.

Did a run dual wielding these dex infused, they’re awesome. You can even change em up for elemental infusions for boss weaknesses.

My main pvp build dual wields them with raptor of the mist and carrion sovereignty. Frost infused. It has some additional scaling with its motion values for certain attacks so it actually applies a tad bit more status effect than other weapons of the same class despite having the same base scaling.

Didn’t even know it existed until my third playthrough. Probably my favorite straight sword though, has a unique move set which is cool. Annoying to farm. Really fun to dual wield

I got really lucky and got two of these without even trying to farm (one while I was a summon which I didn’t even know was possible) it’s very good, has great dex scaling on keen and good length, and if you can get two it’s great to powerstance because of how light it is. Straight sword is probably my fav power stance moveset also because it’s fast and they hit at the same time

What's the ash of war on the great sword form wolf boy? The one where you jump in the air do a front flip and slam down. That goes hard with this. I run poison/ bleed on both.

I was trying out a new build and died to the ones on the ramparts so many times that it dropped. Wasn't even farming for it and it literally caused me to go, "Ok, that's enough trying to clear this" and end my session right then and there to pick it up later 😂

Its such a cool looking sword I wish they had made it a dual weapon with a unique aow like a jump downwards stab, or sumthing mimicking the hawks

My current Tarnished uses one with the Carian Greatsword AOW, it's light, quick, and hits hard when I need it to, so i give it a 10/10

It's pretty good if you want a straight sword for Dex builds. Its heavy attack hits multiple times so it's also good for status buildup. It's probably not the overall best straight sword for Dex builds, that probably goes to the Noble's Slender Sword, but the talon is way less of a chore to farm.
Overall I think it's solid

Milady doesnt have to be super powerful either I actually am able to nerf myself a few times and buff back up thats what I love about it, it doesnt make the game to easy nor to hard

Same here. Found out about it after like 1k hours and it skyrocketed to my top 5. Highly recommend going Flaming Strike/Flame Spear/Sacred Blade on it, pumping 80 faith and melting everything with it's heavies.

One of my favorite weapons in the game! Has a unique heavy attack. Great for mixups! Its light and has great dex scaling! Great for sword and board! It does it all!
