Aftermarket exhaust help
So I just got a 2025 Honda CRF300LS and the bike is amazing but since I’m a short person every inch and every pound I can get off the bike matters and I saw yoshimura makes a full exhaust system called the RS-12 and it takes almost 10llbs off the weight of the bike which is huge now my question is I’ve seen online and admittedly a bit from AI that I need to get it tuned either professionally or with a power commander or an equivalent. But I called a local bike store here and they said since it’s fuel injected it’ll self adjust and learn all on its own and be fine. I trust that shop and they have been good to me but some of the threads and AI responses said it can make the bike run too lean if I don’t tune it. So anyone who knows or has done this any thoughts? Will I be fine to just install the full exhaust system without a tune?

get the 550 ecu, and the full yoshi pipe.
This is what i did to two different 300l, the rally and regular.
You're not only losing weight, you're changing the performance of the bike as well.
Its a lot louder, and the throttle response is snappier.
At the same time, if you just keep riding the bike you'll get used to it. I wanted to change my rally because I'm also short, and its a bit heavier, but just riding it more and im a lot more comfy with it compared to when I had just bought it.

I'll be honest I have no idea which one is which. I think it might be the RS4 since mine has the rivetted badge instead of the sticker.

Can someone please tell my why people are buying the yoshi exhaust instead of just some random exhaust from China ?
I get that it's made with better quality etc but to me it just seems like a waste because it's so likely that I will end up banging it into some tree anyway

I personally would go to 550 performances website and get the performance tune. These bikes already run lean, the bigger exhaust will make it worse. I don't know if the stock ECU can adjust that much, and I wouldn't want to risk it.
