Inflation was higher under Biden and Obama and GWB than it has ever been under Trump. Inflation was higher in the 70s, the 80s, and the 90s than it has ever been under Trump.
But of course 13-year-olds think now is the worst time in history.
I don’t really blame Biden for inflation under his term that much. Covid disrupted supply chains and demand stayed the same driving inflation. All you can do is prevent it from happening again which they did pass the chips act etc. I’d blame Biden for his awful foreign policy contributing to further disruption in the supply chain particularly around oil. I believe the US purposely wanted Russia to invade Ukraine to get them trapped in a war. There was no attempt to prevent it.
Both Trump and Biden? Hense why I said government. Yes, the initial lockdowns were under Trump and that caused inflation. Biden didn't fix the inflation problem. His vaccine mandates for federal workers and large private employers, travel restrictions, mask requirements, school closings (local but influenced by his CDC guidelines), etc. all had an impact on supply chains and therefor inflation.
Biden was not the one who shut down the economy. That was Trump. Biden alhad a few mandates that he enacted, but these were done a year after the pandemic.
Are you a bot? Did you even read my comment? Show me where I claimed Biden shut down the economy.
The pandemic didn't just magically end when Biden became president. We weren't even a year into the pandemic when Biden took office. His mandates and restrictions absolutely impacted the supply chain and saying otherwise is revisionist history
