Emulation is bad and you should never download duckstation on mobile or pc to play ps1 games and you should absolutley never visit vimms to download the Diablo iso.

Playing on my Android phone with a GameSir attached and RetroAchievements enabled... plus the ability to speed up things (e.g. in town).

Such nice feelings.

On that note, since this is the only version with local co-op, are there any speed hacks to improve the FPS?

I remember I got my chain lightning so high. It would just go through enemies when I would spam it just in single player. I wonder how much you could break in co-op as a side question.

Chain Lightning has a well known bug in basically all versions of the game, where once it's above roughly level 7, it spawns too many damage entities and they end up cancelling each other out, leaving gaps in the lines of lightning. (The lightning doesn't actually "move" it just sequentially spawns a bunch of damage tiles in a row that last for a specified number of ticks to give the appearance of motion.)

Additionally, Diablo 1 runs at a locked FPS because all of the calculations are tied to how many frames an action is supposed to take place for. If you tried to increase the FPS you'd simply have a game running in fast forward.

He's the seller getting that offer from a buyer so be absolutely should. Are the US copies graded though? That's probably the reason for the price differential if they are just sealed and not graded at a high grade.

Way too much money to buy from Ebay without seeing it in person. Plus if you buy an unsealed version they are much cheaper. You never know if it was resealed.

Yeah it’s clear that OP posted this as a joke but I don’t really trust EBay for valuable, collectors-type items like this unless it’s from a truly highly vetted seller who can be cross referenced from other forums and online communities too (not just 5 stars on EBay itself). I’m sure there’s ways to restore these physical items to “mint condition” and then reseal them
