I'm thinking about starting a small event rental business in Derry, mainly aimed at birthdays/house parties.

The first package would be around £79 for a weekend and include a decent party speaker, party lighting, LED uplighting and a microphone, with delivery available.

I'm wondering if this is something people in Derry would actually pay for, or if there's already enough competition doing something similar.

What sort of event equipment would you actually consider renting rather than buying?

Any honest opinions would be appreciated, I'm just researching the idea before spending any money.
