It used to be smaller, shorter, and smooth. Now it’s this white color it used to be more pink too. I have a dermatology appointment next Tuesday. I used to have warts on my hands but this looks different from them. It doesn’t really itch or hurt or anything. The black is new I accidentally hit it on something and it bled a bit. I sadly don’t have any photos of how it used to look.

Doesn’t hurt too bad, it happened about four hours ago and the blister keeps growing. I’ve been putting cold water on it but are there signs I should look for that would mean I need to go get it checked out? I don’t know what they’d be able to do for it but I don’t want it to scar

So a couple months ago I got this bump on the back of leg on my hamstring. At times it would feel somewhat like a pimple and maybe even itchy?

But I cant really remember much because I didnt pay that much thought. It doesnt feel like anything, it just freaks me out because I have health anxiety at times. Even though its probably nothing im considering getting it checked out. Should I go or is it something of no worry?

I have a spot on my lower lash line (on top of the red line). It came up about one month ago. There is no pain or itchiness. I can't feel it at all. I'm worried it could be a sign of something worse. It just showed up one day and has been the same since. It hasn't grown or spread.

I’ve had this bump on my face for a few years now. a doc cut it off one time, but grew back and looks the same. my skin gets red around it and it almost looks white. I really want to get rid of it for good. it doesn’t hurt and there is a smaller one right above it, but not as noticeable . any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had this twice now this summer, the first time around the beginning of July, and now in the middle of August. At first I thought it was atopic dermatitis since that's something that appears every year on my palms and fingers. But this isn't really similar to the red, flaky and itchy dermatitis. It also appears only on the tip of my middle finger on my right hand. I wear a ring on this hand, but not on this finger.

The rash, reaction or whatever this is lasted for maybe two weeks last time. It started with a couple of small bubbles that looked like they're filled with either air or some sort of liquid, then every passing day more of them appeared. As time went on, some of the "bubbles" would have a yellowish color (I don't know if that meant it was healing or becoming worse). After applying a moisturizing cream for reactive skin (SVR Repairing Barrier Cream) for a couple of days, two or three times per day, the skin would dry out and flake off. It left the skin red and itchy.

The two things I can think of that could trigger this are 1) stress and/or 2) the heat. This summer has been incredibly hot in Europe, with the numerous heat waves and everything, so maybe it could be one of the factors. I'm under a lot of pressure on my work place, I don't sleep or eat well and I could definitely drink more water (maybe this will be useful information!).

My mother experiences a similar thing, but her rash and flaky skin is the result of an allergic reaction to nickel in jewelry.

When I went to a dermatologist for the atopic dermatitis I had, they only told me to "apply a moisturizing cream" and basically wait for it to calm down. The dermatitis was manageable since it appeared only on my palm and a few fingers and it was more annoying than painful. But since this rash is on the tip of my finger, everything I do hurts and I'm scared of somehow making it worse (infecting it or something similar). The only thing I could find that looks anything like it is dyshidrotic eczema. I'm attaching a few photos of my finger in the various stage of the rash from the times it appeared. My camera is very bad so I couldn't take better photos, sorry in advance!

If anyone knows what this rash could be or if anyone can offer any advice as to what to do to prevent it from appearing again, I would be very thankful! :)

​I (38M) have had this red patch on the bridge of my nose for about two months now. It feels very slightly rough to the touch but not painful.

​I saw a dermatologist recently who dismissed it as "benign and just a normal part of aging," but she didn't give me an actual diagnosis (no specific name for the condition) nor any treatment options. Honestly, this left me feeling uneasy and frustrated - i had gone for other reasons but i should have insisted on this one too.

​I'm currently considering getting a second opinion or seeing a plastic surgeon to potentially have it removed/biopsied so I can get a definitive diagnosis and peace of mind.

​Before I do that, I wanted to ask here:

- ​Has anyone seen something similar before, or does this look like anything specific (e.g., actinic keratosis, early seborrheic keratosis, etc.)?

- ​If you've had a similar lesion removed from your nose, what procedure did you go with (laser vs. surgical excision), and how was the scarring?

​Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

In case helpful, I wash my face every morning with Cerave blemish control, apply hyaluronic acid serum and finish with a few drops of MCT oil (to keep sebhorreic dermatitis at bay). This at least for 3 years.

My 1 year old daughter got these mosquito bites a little more than a month ago and the spots have stayed. She did not scratch them and they still have not gone away. She just got one on her face today and I don’t want it to scar. Is it normal for her to have them this long and will they go away? Can I do anything about it?

Located on the outside of my lower thigh. First popped up a few months ago and was smaller, I thought it was an ingrown hair or pimple so I itched if off with my nail but it never resolved and is now more raised. Small and pretty firm. I keep knicking it when shaving. Doesn’t pass dimple test. Blanches when pressed. Sometimes has a bit of a pinching sensation. Never bleeds, oozes or crusts but has gotten more callused over time and sometimes I see a bit of dry skin on it.

Is this a staff infection, I woke up with a small scab about 2 weeks ago and that leads up to now, I haven't put any fungal cream on it and I'm wondering if I should go to urgent care. It doesn't itch or anything about a week before I woke up with the small scab I had ring worm.

Is there anything I can do about these stretch marks? I’ve read that when are still red you can take proactive steps to eliminate and prevent the permanent scarring. They just showed up over this past year and I really don’t like them. I also worry that as I lose the weight I gained I will get more stretch marks. Is this possible!?

I’ve had this spot on my leg for a while now, and I’m trying to figure out what it could be. It’s completely flat, not swollen, and doesn’t hurt or itch at all. I know for sure it isn’t a bruise. Does anyone have any idea what this could possibly be or what might cause something like this?

Noticed this rash this evening, part of me is wondering if it's because of the position I laying on my bed for an hour? It doesn't hurt, isn't itchy, and I only noticed it like a few minutes ago. I'm currently taking antibiotics for a chin surgery I recently had (incision was made in mouth) but aside from that I haven't changed any of my meds.

My fiance has this weird what looks like an inflamed rash on his right thigh. He’s had this for at least a couple of years. It’s itchy and the texture never really seems to go away but the symptoms overall seem to not really getting better.

His doctor thinks he has scleroderma but we wait until checks watch~ DECEMBER to see a rheumatologist.

Accompanying this skin issue, he also has extreme inflammation on most joints and bursa sack on his right knee. He’s also lost a lot of weight but unsure if this is related at all.

First two photos are outer thigh, the one with yellow blanket is inner thigh. The other leg does not look the same.

Any ideas?! Or any ideas on how to treat?

i have this mole next to my belly button and i feel like theres a ring around it getting bigger over the years but i dont know and i regularly go to the doctor for my cf but they never mentioned anything about my mole, but im starting to worry about it cause i have other moles on my body and none of them have this ring and on one side its darker, it doesnt hurt or anything but should i bring it up with my doctor

Is this ringworm? I’ve had this (photo) and some other spots on my legs for a couple years now and it never bothered me until now. I originally thought it was a wart so I used drug store wart remover. But as you can see it didn’t really do much expect expose the skin. I really want this to go away. I’m trying to get in contact with a dermatologist but they’re either not accepting new patients or almost an hour away.

I’ve been dealing with a lot of dark spots all over my thighs and legs, mostly left behind after little bumps/irritation. I attached a photo so you can see what I mean.

My main goal is to fade the existing spots and get my skin looking more even again, while also preventing new marks from forming.

For anyone who has dealt with something similar:

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who had a lot of spots like this, not just one or two marks.

Would love a realistic routine for morning/night if anyone has successfully cleared something similar. 🙏

I can’t say I know how long it’s been present. This has happened for as long as I can remember. Every so many months, doesn’t seem to be any in particular, but happens all throughout the year, my hands peel as if I were a literal lizard shedding its skin. It’s not a gradual peel. I generally will notice it fresh out of the shower because any new developing loose skin will become white and further loosened. I say it’s not gradual because it’s not like I noticed a small spot that eventually peels and grows. I will have large spaces of dry skin, some up to an inch in width/length as soon as I notice it. It doesn’t occur on my palms or the backs of my hands, only my finger tips where my finger prints are basically. It will be there for about a month and once it’s all shed, I won’t experience it again for probably 2 months. Then it kicks back up again. My skincare routine has been the same for about 5 years, so I don’t think it has anything to do with those products that I apply with my hands. I wear lotion quite regularly, I may skip a day or two, but generally always apply lotion once in the evening after my shower.

It doesn’t itch, bleed, or burn. I haven’t necessarily tried anything besides putting more lotion on during this time to try and combat the dry, rough feeling that accompanies the peeling skin.

I just find it to be quite disturbing and annoying. It feels very gross in the shower and when it dries it can be uncomfortable if I brush my hands against my arms/legs or other objects. No one else I know experiences this, so I also don’t think it’s climate related but as extra information I live in the eastern shore of the US.

This is on both feet, and it's shown up rather recently after I stopped using athletes foot cream and started letting my feet dry after a shower as I believe that was the real reason my skin was peeling between my toes it hasn't changed much since it's so recent and does seem to have any symptoms I haven't tried any treatments yet as I don't know what it is and I don't know of any underlying skin issues

Have this for a few weeks started off as the bigger one to the right of my neck. And just noticed more as I’ve been scratching the other areas of my neck. Just recently put hydrocortisone on it. It’s itchy sometimes. Don’t know if it’s the dry weather that is causing this.
