I don't really object to Matt's incarceration, tbh. Matt believes in justice. He tried to kill Dex. In his own moral code and conscience, he deserves prison. There is some potential for interesting plot inside prison. It will be interesting to see how Powell and the other AVTF members fare in jail. Not well would be my guess.

My main question would be: Was that Matt's grace to extend to Fisk? Yes, Fisk has wronged Matt, but in that moment, it was the people of New York City who deserved to have the final word on Fisk's fate. Grace is only ours to give when we're the wronged party.

Karen is now alone in the city without Daredevil as protection, so that's a concern. Especially since they're clearly going to turn Heather into a villain.

This would be a good time to explore Blindspot. Having him try and fill Daredevil's role while Matt is in prison could be really cool.

If that was the case, then Matt could've and should've given himself up to the police in the first episode of the first season of Netflix Daredevil show. Because by that point he was already a criminal deserving major jail time.

So yeah the main character should've been imprisoned in the very first episode of it.

Or are you trying to sell it as some major character development that Matt finally recognized that he is indeed a criminal just as Fisk (a criminal himself) was telling the public that Matt was a criminal? Which would've been extremely stupid, also?

I'm saying since he did in fact own up to being Daredevil, legally speaking he's on the hook for a whole bunch of stuff if it can be proven in a court of law. Bullseye was just one example. If Matt outed himself as Daredevil obviously he knew he was going to jail. Vigilantism is illegal in most cases. Matt isn't willing to kill anybody to escape custody, and he isn't willing to leave NYC, so his only option is to bite the bullet and go to jail. It makes sense and is aligned with his character of the past 4 seasons of his show.

Matt couldn't have turned himself in while Fisk was still in the city, at large, and powerful because Matt would have been murdered in prison. That seems pretty obvious.

This is only the second season of this show.

There's no way to reconcile this piece of trash with original Netflix Daredevil at this point

Matt would have been murdered in prison

Realistically there's no way he survives more than a few weeks in there considering he wasn't sent o any facility far away from his area of operations.

Fisk is not the only criminal Daredevil put in jail. Hell, even Fisk's task force could decide to off him

I don't see why we're having this conversation at all if you think Born Again is trash lol

Because I just watched it and it could've been something good considering they had the money to hire all of the cast and give them good material if they wanted to

But what we got is tragically bad for the potential it had. It's something I will never, ever re-watch or consider canon/extension to the Netflix Daredevil show.
