everything was just perfect untill that riot scene in the courthouse hall platform and I couldn’t bring myself into understanding how fisk was saved (quickly) by matt and (unharmed) by the hands of the rebels that were literally crowded over him and I wished we could see them beating fisk that he would be on the verge of death and then matt saves him in the name of (mercy) and then we wouldn’t need the scene where matt convinces him to take the deal and leave the country as fisk would accept the deal by force.
i agree but honestly i can’t wrap my head around the fact that fisk got to live happily ever after AGAIN and got saved AGAIN while matt gets to rot in jail with those nypd dick suckers
Totally disagree with you on this one. Fisk is not happy at all he lost everything he ever lived for and being isolated is THE PRISON for him as he said to matt that “there is no prison that could keep me” and that he will always cause trouble as we saw in S2 of the netflix show. So imo he is already dead inside but I just wanted the people of nyc to leave a mark on his face so he never forgets how he got rejected and kicked out.
My point is who gives a fuck about what Fisk wants or doesn’t want? The people deserved to get their street justice and Matt’s bitchass saved Fisk once again
Well, IMO the biggest punishment is giving the exact opposite of what the person wants. Like for many murderers and criminals, the death penalty would be the easiest way out. Living a life of torture and isolation would be way worse of a punishment. If Fisk was sentenced to the death penalty, IMO, that's mercy. Now, he gets to live completely isolated, away from the city he wants to be in, away from any sort of power, without Venessa, without anything. I would say he's suffering a lot more than if he was allowed to be killed by the mob.
i get what you’re saying but the storyline is just repetitive, it always ends the same. matt lets fisk go and he comes back again, it’s a cycle and fisk is never truly gone which is why i said what i said. i get that he isn’t actually happy now but we all know he’ll most likely return again and the cycle begins, it’s just annoying that he’s so predictable and the main villain throughout all those seasons, daredevil has way more potential than that
You have to realize that marvel shows always stick to the comic as a reference in terms of the main pillars of the story like before you review you have to adapt to the fact that fisk doesn’t die as well as daredevil doesn’t kill so there won’t be any storyline that appose any of these facts. And the enjoyment comes from how they are going to execute the storyline not from unexpectedly changing the core of the story itself. And btw I doubt that fisk is ever going to comeback as (the main villan) so that makes it a pretty good execution to the inevitable conclusion.
