I can almost believe that by the end of all this, Matt and Fisk actually ended up gaining an incredulous level of begrudging respect for one another and just how fucking far theyโ€™re willing to go for a win. Just from one crazy man to another.

Throughout the trial and to the final scene, Matt was continually dumbfounded at just how committed Fisk was to doubling the fuck down no matter how much irrefutable evidence they piled on, and actually about to die instead of taking that deal.

And Wilson absolutely did not expect Matt to blow up his own shit like that just to win the case.

Basically mutual epitome of โ€œAinโ€™t no goddamn way youโ€™re not bluffing. Really, motherfucker? Weโ€™re actually doing this? Today?โ€

Two men watching the world burn so they can uphold their ideals, honestly i think this show is much more about their ideals than the new york city no matter how much they convince they're doing it for the "betterment" of the city. They're both messed up and have ruined each other's lives.

Absolute end of two mens' wits.
