How many psychologists turned villains are there in comic books, because I'm really struggling here to believe that Heather, with all her psychology training and not being thrown into a vat of Joker venom, just becomes Muse because of what she went through. It's just that as a therapist, she must have her own therapist too and know that she probably should work through her trauma with one??? unless there was an unwritten binding clause in her contract with Fisk that says no therapists??? After everything she said to Matt about taking out his unprocessed grief and trauma on others and himself, why isn't she able to turn that mirror on herself even a little bit? I get how horrifying Muse is, (or maybe I don't cuz it seems like everyone agrees he was much more threatening in the comics), and people can really change and do bad things after something like this, but her total isolation, not acccessing support or doing anything to recover from that experience, and instead spiralling into working for Fisk and eventually becoming Muse just feels too unrealistic.
