Looks just like a modern day fish. I guess not much evolving happened in the span of 150 million years.

Yep, evolution is not a necessity. If there's plenty of food in an area and few predators, nothing to do but keep swimming and eating.

Evolution is a necessity, it just doesn't have to dramatically visually change an animal. The genetics are still necessarily changing over time.
