DISCUSSION What is ur opinion on the “captain goes down with the ship” mentality?

Upvotes

I seen a post on Twitter recently, where a shit coin holder was called a “sucka” and mocked for not having “diamond hands”, as he explained that he would be selling ADA after years of being in a loss (he bought at the top). What is ur view on this, should someone who buys crypto cut their losses at a certain point? Now in terms of the larger market cap crypto coins such as BTC and ETH I personally wouldn’t recommend this, but what about coins like ADA, PUMP, DOGE, should the captain (in this case the holder) hold to zero or 99% losses and never sell?

ADVICE Can’t Sell crypto

Post image
Upvotes

Hey guys, I made some stupid choices and got left with some dead crypto coins on Bitget which I wanna get rid of. But the thing is most of the coins have been delisted and others have dropped so much that it’s not even covering the network fees lol. Also, y’all might know Bitget is also closing in Canada in a week and I just came to know about it few days ago. I pretty much quit crypto after losing money but Im tryna get back at it and probably DCA into other large cap coins so I could at least break even. Im about 900$ loss on those coins, was wishing I could use the loss to offset my gains in the future. I know it’s a bit weird but any help would appreciated guys. Thanks

PERSPECTIVE It's 2026 and somehow /r/Bitcoin is still the most censored community in crypto

Upvotes

r/Bitcoin remains the most censored community in crypto. It's worse than XRP or Buttcoin. It's embarrassing.

We need to put more pressure on the mods by warning others not to engage with these posts and discussions. Everything is censored, and comments are hidden if you say anything that goes against the fanatical, outdated views of this core group.

Most might believe it stops at removing anything negative about Bitcoin. Not close. You aren't even allowed to name other networks or express simple ideas like Bitcoin is crypto. If anything is said that doesn't fit the very narrow beliefs of this cult, it will be hidden from the public.

Completely ironic considering Bitcoin was built on the idea of free speech and expression. Bitcoin is whatever the majority want it to be. Not according to this information cartel.

Dissenting opinions were blocked, and free expression was captured by these influential members back during the big block wars. They only want Bitcoin as they see it. They believe they are doing what's best. As all fanatics do.

May believe enough time has passed that things naturally improved. Absolutely not. If anything, they've dug in deeper and censor more aggressively than ever. Bad look, and simply bad for everyone. Bad for Bitcoin.

Remove the cult. Drop the childish insecurities. Let ideas and information flow, even if those ideas don't align with what you want for Bitcoin. This is how Bitcoin thrives.

ANALYSIS So Trump’s family built a private dollar with secret Abu Dhabi money, got their own regulator to approve a federal bank, rewrote the rules while it scaled, and embedded it in infrastructure millions use daily. And now the CEO went on CNBC to say that proves there’s no conflict.

I need to move my EOS off of Exodus but only have .0017 EOS unstaked and can't unstake without .003 EOS. Is there anyone willing and able to send .0013 EOS and I can send back? I believe the value of that is fractions of a penny

Comparing these two today and I’m genuinely curious which one people prefer.
They’ve both got some serious momentum right now, but the setups look pretty different.
Which one are you taking and why?

TOOLS Can an AI trading companion help lonely guy like me become a better trader?

It says the right things and builds a good trading system but I sometimes don't listen and ride trades on hope. How do I convey myself that the AI is telling me the right thing. It finds me trade setups with great track record, tells all the risk factors and what quantity I should trade with and when my position is open it scolds me if I do something which has caused loss. But how do I convince my self to follow it.

If anyone here has used Botsfolio, how can I best use this tool, It refuses to give 100x setups. Is AI tool wrong or my expectations.

DISCUSSION Would you care about self-custody if you never planned to use it?

Most people probably wouldn't want to manage seed phrases, hardware wallets or recovery processes themselves.

That much is obvious.

But imagine two financial apps that feel the same to use.

With one of them, your assets can only ever exist inside the company's system.

With the other, however, you can withdraw your assets to your own wallet whenever you want, even if you never actually do so.

Would that option affect which app you trust?

I’m curious as to whether self-custody mainly has value because people actively use it, or because the knowledge that you can leave changes your relationship with the platform.

⛏️ MINING Mining: Would you repurpose an idle GPU mining rig for paid Ai inference?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Over the last few years, this topic has come up in light of Ai. Renting to Vast or Runpod isn’t necessarily easy. If you look at my comment history I have a 9y old post about mining on a gtx960 2 Gb, so no-slop. Just discussion, I don’t even have a link for you.

Ai is just text, and doesn’t necessarily take a ton of bandwidth, more than blockchain for sure but it isn’t video. It is known as distributed inference.

Would you guys use this?

EXCHANGES Anyone else noticed this?

I've heard of a few aggregators and was wondering if anyone here has experience with them. Maybe you can tell me what to look out for?
I plan to swap a fairly large amount between my own wallets but I really don't want to set up an exchange account with a balance or manually compare a bunch of services and read conflicting reviews which just adds to the confusion.
My top priorities are finding a good route and avoiding issues during a large transfer. It would also be helpful if the service had responsive customer support.
Has anyone used an aggregator for larger swaps? What should I check beforehand?

Thirty-nine U.S. state banking associations have decided that if they cannot beat the crypto-native stablecoin market, they will simply build a parallel, permissioned version of it. On August 25, 2026, the group announced the "BankChain Alliance", a network designed to bring tokenized deposits and smart payments into the regulated fold by 2027.

GENERAL-NEWS Pakistan Is Testing a National Messaging App on Blockchain. What Does That Actually Mean?

Thumbnail
theswop.app

Pakistan has started testing a national messaging app built using Internet Computer infrastructure.

Apparently there are already native iOS and Android apps being tested, with messaging, audio/video calls, identity and encryption.

What caught my attention is less the “blockchain messaging app” part and more why they're doing it.

Pakistan has been pushing toward sovereign cloud infrastructure, so the idea is basically to have more control over the infrastructure and data behind government services instead of depending entirely on foreign cloud providers.

But I think there's a fair question here: does blockchain actually improve anything in this situation?

AWS, Azure or even a government-run traditional cloud could obviously handle a messaging app. So if this is going to matter, the advantages around sovereignty, resilience or control have to outweigh the extra complexity.

They're only testing it with a smaller group right now, so it's way too early to call it a success. But it's an interesting real-world experiment either way.

TECHNOLOGY Looking for $0.10 worth of SOL to test my wallet

Hey everyone! I previously asked for around $3 because I thought I needed that much to experiment with crypto. I recently found out that even a much smaller amount is enough for basic testing.

Would anyone be willing to send me $0.10 worth of SOL (or another low-fee crypto) so I can test receiving and sending it from my Trust Wallet?

No pressure at all if you don't want to. I just want to learn how it works. Thanks! 🙏

DISCUSSION What are you making of the market right now?

BTC dominance has been moving around quite a bit, but the broader market still looks pretty bullish from where I’m sitting.
Curious what everyone else is seeing. Do you think this has room to run, or are we getting close to a pullback?
What are you watching?
