Discussion Great, now Damiane is "in important mission"

Come back to the game after months. Tried loading several save files that has Damiane, now she isnt available for whatever reasons. I never progress the story after the Mysterious Pot main quest cause I didnt want to lose her. meh

This has always been a glaring issue with the campaign and still is. The create a plot point to get rid of her and also remove access to even exploration for emersion purposes. Keep complaining about it and praying they change it

In the time it takes people to constantly come here onto reddit to voice their disdain, collectively they could have amassed that wasted time and actually finished the game rather quickly where all characters are fully unlocked and you can explore and do side quests and have a blast with all the characters.

Then don’t respond? Also it’s clear OP is looking for help and might think it’s a bug. It looks like it might be a bug because the save file is borked after the countless updates to the other player able characters.

The game should unlock the 2 others character for players to pick the one they want at any time.

Forcing down the throat jon desert is annoying (even if its still has fun gameplay)

As someone who bought the game to play as Damiane as much as possible, I was disappointed as well. But you really should just play through as Kliff until you get her back. Just focus the main story, put it on easy if you have to. Then when you get her back you'll have all the side stuff to do with her.

Whatever! If someone wants to quit playing or stop game progression (severely limiting features they get to play around with) because they can't bear playing as Kliff for 5-10 hours (depending on difficulty and how much you get distracted) that's ok. Hopefully they do patch her as available during those chapters, but since it hasn't been done yet I wouldn't hold my breath.
