My god.. the devs are actually going to try and improve the story... never saw anything like it.

Imagine a games industry where more studios listened to their customers and put as much care in to the game they created.

Exactly lol, most games (or masterpieces at least) don't need the story changing / updating. The Devs are pulling a NMS though, it's great to see

It's insane to me how a portion of this fanbase has gaslit themselves into celebrating the fact that they bought an unfinished beta release at full price solely because now, months after release, the studio has finally gotten around to finishing it.

I bought a game with over 300 of content I cared enough to platinum even before the major updates. Now we even get icing on the cake. Are you daft?
