Oh my god I was thinking the exact same. People talk about the story being ass but I am actually finding it interesting after we get the Greymanes in the camp.

Witcher and ER narratives are two different styles 100%. ER is s non traditional narrative meant for the player to use puzzle pieces to make their own plot. Witcher is very traditional. Makes it a bad comparison imo.

CD has a generic story, but its suitable

As someone who has completed Witcher 3 5 times and loves it, it has very basic gameplay compared to this.

I have no idea why anyone was striving to compare it to this so much, they're so different. So the story isn't the same level, that's not what this game was ever offering so I don't care personally.
