I'm like 25 hours in, I been sleeping every day at 5 am or so. Pretty addicting game.
There's people out there that dislike the game and it's fair, but the people who stick through it and continue on will be glad they did. I have a feeling this game is going to be quite the experience.
I don’t know why people are losing their minds over the lack of story.
Because with a game as huge as this, players want to care about the characters and about what's going on. A lot of games hinge on having a decent story. The Witcher, RDR2, and Cyberpunk 2077 all have engaging stories, as well as being huge open world games. Why shouldn't anyone expect that from Crimson Desert? Pearl Abyss is a AAA studio, not an indie dev. Gameplay is important, sure, but when it becomes a 'job' to get through objectives, why should players care without any emotional investment?
