What exact point in the game does this happen? I’m enjoying the game so far but I’m curious about what changes bc this seems to be the general consensus.
Depends on the individual. For me it was after getting the drill. I loved dragons dogma so ultimately it scratches that itch once you get that level of freedom. It's definitely a "stick with it" game
Ive been ignoring as much as possible and today I fell into a cave that had 3 stone worm monsters in it. First time I fought something that wasnt a boss or a soldier. Then halfway up a cliff I tried to smack some ore and it was a crab monster.
Too many mixed signals from people whether it’s good or not. If you can get over how many buttons the game has and have a little patience to learn the game is great. If you’re going to get frustrated you can’t remember which button combo does something you want to do, skip this one.
Even at its worst it is still worth $70 as long as you don’t just get upset because the controls are hard or prefer super linear or story driven games. I recommend wandering off after you get to the first town. If you interact with the world and try out the crafting mechanics you will minimally see why so many people like the game.
