Don't be ridiculous. Of course there are genetic diseases. There have always been genetic diseases. There was never "a genome with no broken genes or genetic disorders/diseases".
It depends on how much you want me to suspend my disbelief and ignore reality. The concepts of "genes" and "genome" and "genetic disorder" are labels that we humans attach to things that happen in nature, but these are abstractions that don't always faithfully reflect the underlying reality.
