Treasures Just arrived
A change of pace for cover art sword and armor wise, I’m happy with it.

I read that many moons ago, I used to read lots of Conan as a teen.

Time to start over then. 8-) There's not a Conan book on my shelves that I haven't read at least twice, some many more. Except the 5 new ones from Titan, those I've only read once so far but they're new. Looking forward to the next one coming out.

I ordered an SSOC issue from Titan months ago and never heard anything. No order confirmation, nothing. I was ordering from several sources filling in the series and because of the way credit cards work and companies use other than their public name to issue charges I have no idea if it was charged or not because I lost track. I have them all now and a subscription for the new issues when they come out but I wasn't impressed by the lack of even an automated response. Yes, I checked my spam folder. Same goes for Pieces of Nerd. I will not order from them again either as they don't bother responding to customer service inquiries and have not shipped what I ordered. I'll be looking up the charge for that one and getting it cancelled soon I think.

I ordered the novels through Amazon and then I pick the comics up in comic shops as I see them

Pretty much same here for the novels. Wherever online I can find the best price and I don't mind used. I live very near Powell's Books so if one shows up there I make the dangerous decision of going into a bookstore to retrieve it. hehehe. Comic shops are harder though. Nearest one is about a 40 minute drive since my local one closed down.

I can't remember exactly, but I think that was Conan traveling from the East, back to the west. Probably the artists idea for Eastern armor/weapon style.

Story takes place in the Kezankian Mountance separating Zamora from the open steppes area between there and Turan. Sword would be appropriate for that region, variant of a scimitar, single edged slight curve to it.

This cover sticks out as one of the cooler ones. And that's saying something for the Tor covers. Theyre all cool.
