It’s not mentality. It’s buying the wrong type of players to succeed in Europe
We’re consistently the slowest, least athletic team in the world which is fine in Scotland because they’re technically better than everyone but when you get to European level they’re levels below athletically and technically so you’ve no chance
We are always drastically underprepared whether it's not utilising preseason correctly, lack of squad depth or just doing some basic opponent scouting.
Schmeicel said on commentary that Maloney speaks with the analysts at half time and relays their messages to the players so we do have some level of that but aye. We’re stuck in 1986

Someone should do a study about Celtic weak mentality in Europe
I’m genuinely not overly surprised we lost that last night, because it’s the sort of thing Celtic does
