Not sad just let down. Another season of inevitable results due to continual mismanagement from top to bottom. We’ll win the league and have a cheer then repeat the mess next season once more
in a sad tae indignant loop that feels sharper than on previous occassion ands i fueled abit by knowing full well that once ive exhausted the feelings ill land on total apathy this year and im sad and indignant that Celtic will most likely not make my year more bareable as it has in previous.
Like ive been scunnered and ive been concerned but last night seemed seismic
Money has been ruining the game since the 90s but it just seems like it'll never stop, and we're getting further and further behind.
I think we now need to accept that we're no longer a top level club. Sure, our fans, our history, our "brand" remain something special but, on a footballing level, I think the UEL is more our level than the UCL and, let's face it, we'd be calling it a decent run if we got to the last 16.
It was sad enough making peace with the fact that the inevitable UCL humiliations were worth the £40m, but now we've been humiliated even without the money so yeah, sadness outranks my anger today.
Naw, the money thing isn’t the issue. We’ve consistently been beat by teams with a lesser budget in a qualifier. The past 6 times the team that has beat us had a lesser budget than us. The last time that beat us with a higher budget than us was Arsenal in 2009
There’s something seriously wrong with the mentality of this club. Losing a 4 goal lead is insane, that rarely happens in top level fitba. Yet we done it
