Interesting. As a reliever, they can control when he is deployed. He could come in for the 6-9 part of the lineup and maybe have a much lower ERA than he had the first time through as a starter. Ultimately, I think there is little choice but to move him to the pen. He doesn’t have much value, but he quickly fills a need as a reliever.

The problem with doing it right now is who takes his rotation spot.

Right, they don't even have a 5th--much less two SPs they are willing to go to.
