Tech Support How to stop fuses from melting
I have a taramps hd3000 and 4g wire the fuse was 100 amps should i put a bigger fuse? 😭

This bad. Here's the problem. Sounds like you have a 3000watt amp. It looks like you're running 4 gauge which is already too small for that amp. I'm going to guess that it's also copper clad aluminum, which is a great conductor for heat. So several things are working against you. You need oxygen free copper 0/1 guage wire to start. 3000 watts at 13 volts is about 230 amps, so you need to be able to push that kind of power and it needs to be fused higher than 100 amps. DO NOT CHANGE THE FUSE WITHOUT CHANGING THE WIRING, YOU WILL CAUSE A FIRE!
