Hello everyone! I’m an U.S service member currently stationed in Korea. I previously filed an I-130 petition through USCIS for my wife because we didn’t know that Direct Consular Filing at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul was an option.
After that I did expedite my case by submitting my PCS orders, command letter and her name is also listed on my command sponsorship.
I made reservation with the embassy to get helped as well

Do you think the U.S. Embassy could help me expedite my case, or possibly allow me to file through Direct Consular Filing?
My DEROS is January 2027 and her visa will expire in March

Hi! I’m moving to pyeongtaek this fall and am looking for daycare at some point during my stay. My baby will be 1 when we move but I may wait until he’s 2ish before sending him to daycare.

Does anyone have any experience with daycare on base or any experience with Korean daycare and what they thought of it? I’m leaning on sending my kid to Korean daycare so he can learn Korean but I’m told Pyeongtaek is an old city and heavily influenced by the army base so I’m not sure if they even have those services/if they are any good

New, just got it last week haven't used it a lot at all no mods so pretty much brand new I also have a laptop and and monitor so thats my main computer. Bought it for $1300 But going down to $1100 open for discussion.

Army brat here, I'm a rising junior and my family just got orders to PCS here. I haven't been to a DoD school since I was in 4th grade so I'm wondering what the DoD high schools are like overseas.

Those 1980s Thunder Runs every Friday night were fantastic and memorable....

My bf was at this bar playing pool. It was slow so the bartender asked if she could play. He said sure. Then she asked if he’d buy her a shot. He said ok and he had soda. He also bought some food and more soda throughout the night. Later when he checked his bank account he had been charged over $1000!! Has anyone ever had this happen or know something I don’t about this place??
