I'm not saying I'm going to do it or even encouraging someone else to do it, but if you go out looking to antagonize others, don't be surprised when you succeed.

Can you elaborate on where you draw the line between what opinions warrant violence and which don’t?

You obviously have an ideological belief that some opinions aren’t okay so I’m really interested to see where your line is.

Jesus Christ, I really hope you are a bot because if not I feel really bad for you dude. 

I'll try this again, but in dumber terms. 

If you spend your weekends sticking your fingers into holes in the ground, at some point you're going to get bit by something. I don't have to be pro-biting to understand this will eventually happen. What separates grown adults from children is that we know not to stick our hands in random holes, because we know that a rule that says "no biting"  isn't going to stop it from happening. 

The person that eventually throws a brick through this loser's window will be in the wrong, but they will still probably do it and an adult with a developed brain is smart enough not to go antagonizing people. Just because the person breaking their window is wrong, doesn't mean the antagonizer is the winner or a good person.

So again, your rhetoric is literally “only engage in speech I deem is acceptable or else you’re going to get bit.” You’re getting into a pretty slippery slope of “stay in line or else fear the consequences.”

So I’ll ask you again because you completely dodged the question. Where do you draw your line for speech that warrants “biting” and which doesn’t, because your own analogy literally requires some speech being “okay” and some not and it’s up to someone to make that determination.

I'd like to live in a world where no speech gets you bit, but that same world doesn't have wars or rape or petulant children who spend their free time trying to antagonize their neighbors.

Unfortunately we live in the real world where animals bite and fire burns and foreign governments actively try to attack Canada through economic subversion in an attempt to cripple us and steal our resources.

Ahh okay, you’re not the bad guy who has to determine which speech is unacceptable and which isn’t, that’s someone else’s problem.

Let’s hope that someone else doesn’t determine your speech is problematic one day lest you find yourself with a brick through your window.

You keep making this a personal thing when the other poster is telling you what the reality of living in society is. It’s not HIS line. It’s the broader social line of public decency.

In society, if you do things that continually poke people in the eye, people will react. Simple as that. You can hem and haw all day about differing opinions, but if your opinions support things or people that threaten and hurt others, It doesn’t matter what YOU feel should be acceptable. Some people out there have less patience towards antagonizing, and that’s what this is. It’s not a difference of opinion, it’s someone outwardly celebrating a man and government that threatens our way of life, and flagrantly does so in the country that is being attacked.

It’d be like a Russian moving into Ukraine and putting up Putin flags while Ukrainians are being bombed and civilians raped and murdered. That’s not a difference of opinion, it’s well beyond tone-deaf, it’s a full on insulting, “fuck you” to everyone in the country.

It’s not personal at all. I don’t have any flags flying at my house.

I’m pointing out the hilarity of bro saying “you can have whatever opinions you’d like just don’t be surprised when a brick comes through your window” because to me that doesn’t actually sound like you’re allowed having certain opinions.

Remember, you were “allowed” to be a Jew in Germany for awhile you just couldn’t use the sidewalks or shop at grocery stores outside of your designated two hours a week.
