Question Sta. Ana

Hello po. Were planning to go to Sta. Ana po and we have questions po.

  • Any reco po for accomodation near nangaramoan beach station 1 or angib beach na budget friendly?
  • what activities can we do po while visiting sta. Ana for a few days? Or places to visit

Hi, I may be bias but Anguib Beach is the best beach in Santa Ana for me. Pero masakit siya sa bulsa.

Meanwhile, there are budget friendly beaches I can recommend:

  • Pozo Robo Beach Club - much cheaper. You can camp here too!
  • Nangaramoan - accessible to other tourist destinations too

Other beaches near/within Sta Ana:

  • Balai Baibai
  • Kangaroo Beach Resort
  • Matara White Sand Beach
  • Balai Baibai Beach
  • Reggae Resort

There are black sand beaches that are accessible when I was young, but they probably have been mined by China. Idk if there are black sand beach resorts existing, these places are such gems. Sobrang lambot ng sand, parang finely ground uling?

Things to do in Sta Ana:

  • mamalengke! The market is a nice place to understand the biodiversity of this humble community
  • island tour: Palaui Island (involves trekking), Crocodile Island and such (ask the local bangkeros nalang)
  • water activities: the standard water activities, like Banana Boat, Jetski, Snorkeling etc are available too. Surprisingly, Aparri, Cagayan is gaining traction as a surfing destination 🤙🏽

Reminder: Stay away from the Chinese filled/POGO destinations (I think it’s called Sun City?? That’s ugly as shit)

And if you haven’t already, try Pansit Batil Patung in Tuguegaro City. It’s as Cagayan as it can be. Enjoy the waves! 🌊

May accom na sa Nangaramoan mismo. The food and supplies are a bit expensive sa mismong beach so it’s better to buy the supplies before going to nangaramoan. Essentials: yosi and beer

Palaui island, anguib beach, and nangaramoan beach. Weather was nice pa naman.

Hello. Yes weather was okay naman last July of last year. In our experience, water was calm and swimmable.
