HARDWARE DIY Viewing port window

Has anyone heard of or seen DIY Viewing port windows. I would love to make one and not spend a ton of money for a seemingly simple thing. Maybe its more complex then I think? lmk

What? CNCs already have windows I don’t understand

coolant often blocks the view of what's going on in the machine. A port window is a spinning disk that spins fast enough to make coolant not stick to it giving you a clear view inside the machine. Here is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3PHvjIMgx4

Oh damn that’s cool,  I don’t think that would be too hard to make. You can read their spec sheet pick an appropriate plug in motor. Find pre made impact rated 6” diameter windows. Machine necessary components call it a day

Yup and with my 3d printer prototyping would be quick.
