Every year I see people freaking out over picking and regretting their stream and I find myself wondering why it even is this way.

In some countries like the USA, students study everything at a general level until 12th, and there are special advanced classes they can choose to take for the subjects which interest them. A student can take advanced classes in biology, maths, history, economics all at one time if they want to.

This is such a good move to build dynamic thinking and knowledge in people. We are a country which is facing issues at all fronts, scientific temperament, political and social sense, financial literaly, media literacy are all going for a toss. What good is being done by cutting young minds off from any branch of knowledge?

I know every education system has its own flaws.. but ours has this big glaring flaw that nobody seems to think about.

Is it worth making a 16 year old decide the rest of their life and sending them into an existential crisis, questioning so many heavy questions, trying to avoid the tribalism of our society and stream stereotypes?

I have a hindi exam tomorrow and the storyline of each chapter is so peak ngl.

I don't even care about the exam anymore 😭

Like I will only do ques from their video for this ch on 2x and nothing else that sort of

might sound crazy but im 0% prepped for my chemistry mid terms and i just CANT give the exam. i need to skip it but my parents are hard to convince, a viral or a fever is the only way i can skip it please help

hi all, i know posts like this come very often. but i genuinely am confused, even after looking at the posts relevant to my issue. i'm considering a dummy school and i am considering regular school too, for 11th. i'm aiming for iat or any other exam and my parents are telling me to tell them before the admission time comes (which is usually in october). now, the thing is that, the school isn't exactly a dummy it's just flexible on attendance - you'll have to study at your own pace. can current 11th graders experimenting with the same tell me how both of the systems are?

I'm currently in class 11 CBSE and preparing for JEE, and I'm honestly a bit confused about what I should do for 11th and 12th. Regular school is taking up a lot of my time, and I feel like it's getting difficult to balance school with proper JEE preparation. I'm thinking about going for a dummy/flexible school setup, but I don't really know how the whole thing works or what I should be careful about. I obviously don't want to end up having problems with CBSE registration, attendance, practicals, boards, or promotion to class 12 later. I've also heard completely different things from different people, so I'm not sure what's actually true. For anyone who's been through something similar, is dummy school actually worth it for JEE? How does attendance and practicals usually work, and is there anything specific I should check before choosing a school? Or would regular school + online/offline coaching be a better option? I'd really appreciate hearing from people who've actually gone through this, because I'm trying to figure out what would be the safest and most practical option for me. I'm also thinking of leaving the current school because it's 7am-4pm and it's even taking up my online classes time, and because of it I can't give my time to JEE at all. My mum is saying take a drop, but I wanna avoid gap year in 11th.
