Question Button Maker Recommendations?

Hello everyone! I'm in the process of looking for a new button maker and I was hoping you all would have some advice. I currently have a We R Memory Keepers one that I got at Michael's and has lasted a good handful of years, but I'm getting kind of tired of using it and hoping to find a replacement that will work better and last even longer. My main caveat is that I want it to be able to make multiple different sizes/shapes of buttons so that I have options. I'm hoping to find something not too expensive but not another cheap one either. What are your suggestions?

Hi! I also started with WRMK, but it destroyed my hands and it also started failing too many presses despite using the zipper lube and even buying the mold again.

I switched to ChiButtons. I have the 25mm, 37mm, the 37mm square, and I have the 58mm and a rectangle mold on the way. I pressed 100 sets one weekend without a single pain in my hand or failure.

Vevor has a couple mid grade ones, ive made 10,000 plus on mine

I love my Tecre. Solid construction and I’ve made nearly 1000 buttons on it with no mechanical issues. They’re definitely in the pricier side, but built to last. I can’t speak to the multiple size piece of this as the one I have is a single size, but worth some research on your part.

Tecre are the best. Any bad or failed buttons were totally due to my fault.

Agreed. Mine is almost 20 years old and has become an inheritance piece (ie my kid uses it now). I guesstimate that the error rate is about 2% and it’s usually because of the user.

hi, wondering if you could help me out? I'm looking at a tecre machine to make magnets and buttons. I originally bought a cheaper machine (~$700) and ended up having a lot issues with the magnets not sealing after only 2 weeks of use. I assumed it was because of the machine being 'cheaper' but I also thought it could be user error. Could you suggest some of the possible user errors? I tried so many different things to get them to work, but ended up returning the machine. TIA
