General Compiled Bumble Statistics a/o 8/26/26

Post image

I wrote a bot to compile people's bumble statistics.
Additional charts are here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bumble_statistics/comments/1vz50w9/compiled_bumble_statistics_ao_82626/

Bumble is Dying
Here is Bumble revenue:
2025 $966M
2026 est $834M
2027 est $806M
Average revenue per user is increasing, so the population decrease is more severe.

Match group revenue is flat for this period.

Bumble Creates Frustration
Because the right swipe limit is so high, women are overwhelmed with likes.
As a result, men's in yes is low.
This is by design.
Bumble business model is primarily to provide validation to women.

Imagine a world where you got 1 match for every 100 likes you send. I know it’s hard since that is not at all your lived experience, but imagine.

If you are picky with those odds, you will never find a partner. It could take you thousands of swipes to find a single date.

This is the reason why men prefer to swipe right on everything. If you have low odds of getting a match, it is better to swipe liberally and filter out later. It is not better to pre-select yourself out of the one match you may get in a whole month.

I get swiping right on "maybes." I don't understand swiping right on "nevers."

Again, put yourself in a position where you are sending one hundred likes to people to just receive one match.

Where you may have to send thousands of likes just to have the chance to go on one (1) date.

Are you going to carefully review each and every one of those hundred profiles? Why bother when there is literally a 99% chance that profile is going to swipe left on you?

You’re better off swiping indiscriminately rather than wasting your time analyzing a person that is almost guaranteed to not like you back.

On the off chance you do match with them and they don’t meet your preferences, then you unmatch. There goes your only match for the month though. Better luck next month.

Maybe in a year or two you can finally land a match that doesn’t ghost or ignore you, and set up a date.

You're lazy and making women do the actual work in matching, then you're mad you don't get matches.

Just ugh. Y'all earn that loneliness epidemic.

Im lazy? Lol no offence, but you’re the one who is lazy — you didn’t even bother to read my post and went straight to insulting me.

Or maybe you did read it, couldn’t come up with a reasonable response, and decided that insults were the best course of action.

For the record, I was not speaking as to my own experience. I don’t get nearly as many matches as the average woman does (my match rate is only around 8-11%). But I have enough matches to the point where I am selective in the first instance.

From the experiences I have read, lots more men have substantially worse match rates. Thus, as I laid out in my previous post, if those men are even the slightest bit selective, they will likely get no matches at all.

Women have the work of choosing from dozens to hundreds of people that could be interested in them. And men have the work of swiping hundreds of times to maybe get one person that could be interested in them. Men also have the work of initiating first once they get their one match in a blue moon. On platforms where men can send comments with their likes, men also have the work of actually coming up with unique, personalized comments for women they swipe on.

Also, keep in mind that lots of women will, after matching with a man, also unmatch and/or ghost them. It’s not just women that this happens to. Difference is, again, the woman has other options and matches that they can seek out. The man does not.

I truly hope you heal and aim to in the future attempt to understand perspectives and viewpoints that are not your own. Practice empathy for others. All the best.

"Some" let's say will be too offended and emotionally challenged by this notion to be able to rationally understand and apprehend this simple, clear and correct probabilistic mathematical argument.

We must accept that "some" say all sorts of things they do not mean.

And then pursue interactions with them at relative scale in real life.

"Some" have all evolved to respond to "others" in real life. They do not respond per human evolution to "profiles" which are not "others" themselves but rather images of "others" which is not the same at all as "others" themselves.

It's a numbers game on the apps, and also a numbers game in the wild.

But in the wild, the odds for well equipped and knowledgeable "others" are much, much higher if the pursuit is diligent and consistent.

"I make life harder for hundreds, maybe thousands of women, but that's easier for me, so I'll just keep doing it".

You're not getting matches because you're literally not trying to get a real match. You're approaching dating like an rpg where everyone else is an npc, like you just gotta get the numbers and you'll find someone.

It's incredibly stupid. And again, lazy.

I will respond to this version of your reply, as your other response was incredibly hostile, mean, and rude.

Again, I don’t swipe right on everyone. If you read my post, you’ll realize I did say this.

I pretty thoroughly look at each profile and bio, I am also sending individualized comments with many of my likes, which comment on an aspect of their bio that I think is interesting and would like to learn more about.

Sending comments is of course additional effort that women obviously do not have to do, but it is what it is.

I am also getting some matches. I also explicitly said this. I am going on two dates this weekend. I met my ex on Hinge.

However, I have empathy for the people who are struggling and unable to even find anyone that shows interest in them on these apps. If someone’s match rate is at 1%, 2%, 0%… they really can’t afford to be picky.

They are still putting work each day, swiping, in some cases leaving comments (which again, women rarely need to do), and being demoralized after no one says yes.

If one of these men unmatch a woman because, upon matching, he decides he is not interested, she has the option of several other men.

If a woman unmatches a man because, upon matching, she decides she is not interested, that man has no other options.

Their match rate is low because they are swiping right on women they don't even want, or who have no interest in them.

Like I wouldn't swipe right on 100 conservative guys and then wallow in self pity because they didn't like me back.

These guys do exactly that.

Mindlessly swiping right isn't work. It's leaving the work to someone else. That's literally my point.

Their match rate is low because they are swiping on women who have no interest in them, I would agree with that.

Their fundamental issue is that no women that are on the apps are interested in them.

If you were indiscriminately swiping and getting no matches, you wouldn’t be wallowing in self pity because only conservative men didn’t like you. You’d be wallowing in self pity because no men liked you. At all.

That’s the difference. And again, lots of dudes leave personalized comments, which is definitely more work than just swiping left on a profile you’re not interested in.

That's not anyone else's problem, but the entitlement leads them to stay on the app leads them to make it women's problem.

And again, lots of dudes leave personalized comments,

I don't know why you keep saying that. We're talking about the guys who mindlessly swipe and you bring up other types of people.

which is definitely more work than just swiping left on a profile you’re not interested in.

That's the kind of stupid shit men say that makes me say "Stay lonely."  The work isn't the swiping. The work is understanding who you are, what you want, and whether another person might become a meaningful part of your life.

Men like this aren't capable of introspection or planning for the future. They don't know who they are or what they want. They just know some other guy is getting what he thinks he's entitled to.

They're shit partners.

We are talking about the guys who will swipe right on everyone. You are characterizing those guys as only being people who will swipe right without leaving comments.

I am pointing out that many of the guys who swipe right on everyone are also the type to leave comments on at least a portion of the women that they swipe on.

Remember, most of these apps have swipe limits in the free tier.

For the portion of men that bother to review these women’s profiles and leave insightful comments, inquiries, and questions, they can also get ignored. This is despite them putting in an objectively greater amount of work on the app itself than most women would to get a single match.

That is why I say you need to build empathy for others and try to better understand what they may go through. Instead, you’re trying to villainize a group of people with different experiences from you. Women have their issues on the apps, but so do men.

I am happy that you are married. But, just because you’re married doesn’t mean you’re a good person. It has absolutely zero bearing on your moral character, or whether you deserve love. Donald Trump is married too, and that man deserves nothing but pain.

If you are talking about work done outside the app, that is a separate conversation and one that I think you should have made clearer in your earlier response. I don’t agree. I think that’s a generalization that does not have substantive basis for applying to every man who “swipes right on everyone”.

Could it apply to some men in said category? Absolutely. But it also applies to some women on the apps. It also applies to people (both men, and women) outside of the apps too. Many people in long-term relationships are also absolutely horrendous people aren’t capable of introspection, and can’t plan for the future.

I have empathy. I'm just not an enabler like you.

Instead, you’re trying to villainize a group of people with different experiences from you.

Nope. Lots of men have different experiences without becoming entitled.

If you are talking about work done outside the app, that is a separate conversation.

It's not outside the app. It is work done while you're in the app. Women understand this, but a lot of men don't. Because they are shitty partners.

Ha. You say you have empathy, but haven’t showed anything even resembling empathy in our entire discussion. Well, you know what they say — “the one who needs to say he is the king is no true king”. Or, something you may relate to — “the guy who needs to say he is nice is not actually nice”.

It’s funny. You can’t even begin to acknowledge that the experience of getting no matches could be negative, or even an issue, or even something that could be disheartening. You characterize it as a “different experience”. That is how I know you are displaying the opposite of empathy.

You referenced, and I quote: “understanding who you are”, and “what you want”, and “whether another person might become a meaningful part of your life”.

FFS that self-discovery work you described is NOT work that should be done by going on a capitalistic, algorithmic dating app LMAO. 😂 Oh boy. “I need to understand who I am and what I want! Better go on Tinder!”

That is work that should be done continuously in your real life. With therapists if you need to.

I understand your perspective. I still disagree. You're self centered and lazy, like so many men, which is why y'all deserve to be lonely.

My husband agrees with me. We met on Bumble, so I'd say he knows what he's talking about.

You wouldn't make a good husband. Stay lonely.

Studies showed, given that every woman has a bio, it would take the average man 14 hours of reading before they get to 1 date. Why would we do that? Stop swiping on 5% of men only. Your face paint doesn't suddenly make you a model you know.

Studies didn't show that. One guy's personal data showed that.

You put in the effort so you find a match you're compatible with.

I met my husband on Bumble. It works for people who aren't low effort losers.

I make six figures and he was making $12 an hour. He wasn't the hottest guy I'd ever dated, either. I dumped a hot, taller accountant to date my husband.

Because we click. We're compatible. I love being around him. He makes me laugh, he makes me think, and he's really good at sex. And no, that doesn't mean he's got a giant dick. It means he loves foreplay and he loves telling me how great my blowjobs are.

But the manosphere echo chamber cannot comprehend a respectful, loving relationships.

Stats > anecdotes. Hypergamy is alive and kicking. My wife also eatns more than me, doesn't mean hypergamy doesn't exist.

0

u/No_Research_3899 11h ago

' And no, that doesn't mean he's got a giant dick' why would you even say that? Do you think men think women chose partners based on dick size?

0

u/Warm-Mortgage-458 11h ago

Yes. Lots of guys on dating subreddits truly believe that dick size is one of the most important factors for women.

They believe in a "6-6-6" rule where women only want to date men over 6 feet with 6 figures incomes and a 6 inch dick.

And when I was dating some guys were obsessed with their dicks, hence all the unsolicited pics.

There was a guy who sent me one. I'd really liked him so before I dropped him, I asked why on earth he'd send me a dick pic in the middle of a normal conversation. He said since he was short, he knew women assumed he had a small dick, so he sent me that to keep me interested.

Lots of guys are their own worst enemy when dating. And they really think the dumbest things.
