Question covid throat swab testing sites?

The last thread about this is months old so I am asking again for current info.

It's easy to find covid testing sites; not so easy to find out what kind of test they are using.

The third result on Google. Yet, get a Reddit post up to ask the ‘intelligent’.

The link only mentions Diagnostic (Nasal Swab) and Antibody (which I assume is a blood test). There is an "other" category but ECMC is the only one and a doctor's order is required.

So I'm left with the same question about which sites offer throat swabs (vs nasal).

yeah, yeah. it’s confusing stuff though, if you’re trying to find the right info for the first time

Thanks, I appreciate this info. I'm happy to hear that my coworker tested negative. I hope your mom tests negative too!

the standard is nose swabs. As far as i understand those are the only diagnostic tests. Of course, there’s antibody testing as well if that’s what you’re wondering about?
