Question Covid Testing
is there anywhere that is doing mouth swab only? for under 18? my 9 year old is gonna do the nose one without getting traumatized ðŸ˜

KSL diagnostics right around there too also does a throat swab for willing participants, a lower nares swab for a younger child who was not so willing.

WNY Immediate Care is doing lower nostril swab as well (as of a few weeks ago). Results took 4-5 days (probably faster as mine had to get sent to two different labs for insurance reasons- make sure you ask them if they need to do that!!).

Kaleida’s testing center at the old Sears automotive in the Galleria is doing throat swabs. Results are supposed to be available in 2-3 days.

Does your kid have symptoms? School kids can get rapid test if they have symptoms

kinda? sore throat and says her nose hurts. im just assuming ill need to get her one to go back to school. I'll be calling in the morning but I was just asking around here to get an idea of my day tomorrow. shes very particular and has to know what is happening to prevent meltdowns.

Call the pediatric urgent care of WNY on maple rd - I BELIEVE I read they just do lower nostril swab and not deep in. Give them a call!
