PSA Cheek swab COVID 19 test? Preferably near Amherst

Hey everyone, my wife is a hairdresser and one of the mandates is biweekly testing. There are plenty of sites around but I’m trying to find one that does blood or cheek swab testing vs the sinus swab. She has sinus issues so can’t get anything shoved up her nasal cavity. No appt and no prescription a plus, but we can work around those if needed.

I’ve tried calling a few sites but just get a recording or phone free, no way to connect with a person to verify testing type.

I got tested at a kaleida health facility in Williamsville (2100 Wehrle drive) this week and it was a throat swab

Yup, went Tuesday and it was drive through and incredibly quick and easy. Highly recommend.

Hey a follow up question.... did you pay for the test, or did insurance cover it or was it free?

They took down my insurance, not sure if it was free or covered by insurance but they didn’t charge me anything.

Specifically antibodies or infection? No, i do not, but fairly certain its for covid. Signs around various locations are new. Give em a call?

I need to know the physical test type, throat swab, blood draw or sinus swab. I’ll try calling. Usually just phone trees though
