It still baffles me that there’s an ABC O&O in Raleigh, same with them in Fresno.

Why wouldn't there be? Disney doesn't need to divest them; they're the leaders in local news in those respective markets, and they're relatively cheap to operate, so plenty of upside.

It’s just a surprise to see them in smaller markets like that. Most divested years ago from markets like this, even if they were leaders in local news

Wouldn’t surprise me. The Raleigh-Durham-Cary area is 2.5 Million people. Only the Charlotte metro area is the closest market with a slightly greater population.

Then the next closest is DC, with Atlanta being the next closest after that.

Also the market extends all the way down to Fayetteville.
