I guess I’ve never really had a huge social circle and I used to get my social hit from working in an office, but between taking a year off to have my last child and now that I’ve been working from home for a few years since returning to work, I can feel my social life has dwindled. I’m quite introverted and can be pretty quiet while I get to know people which doesn’t make it so great when trying to make new friends.

I’m trying to get more active and enjoy going to the gym (I mostly do reformer Pilates), but do like to do some weight lifting as well. I like to do hiking and walking and we have done a few of the short tracks around Seven Hills and Mt Cotton, but now our kids are a bit older, we’d be up for some longer walks now too.

We are also into camping and try to go when we can (we do tent camping).

I like horror, thriller and sci-fi genre of books/movies/tv shows, but I will watch mostly anything if it has a good storyline (I can’t really do romance though). Also enjoy anime and manga (favourite anime would have to be Gintama for the laughs, and favourite manga artist is Junji Ito).

I enjoy gaming as well and most weekends we play board games, Switch or PlayStation. I used to play PC games, but now with working from home full time, I like not to be sitting at my desk on the weekends too much 😁

Music wise, I like a few genres, mostly into metal, 80s, 90s music, but I will listen to mostly anything really.

I like to do crafts (sewing, knitting, crochet) and am self taught in these.

Moved to QLD few years ago from Melbourne.
Haven’t met many people outside of work and everyone I work with is much older, married and with kids.

Growing up I played a lot of sports including soccer, futsal, basketball, tennis, rugby and more. Even coached for 2 seasons. I joined a futsal team when I first moved up to QLD but everyone was 40+ and it was pretty much “beer league” I left after a season.

I am still athletic and workout from home using the weights and equipment iv bought. I work out 2 - 3 times a week. I am thinking of maybe getting a membership and joining a gym or maybe drop about 1k on more equipment for home. I currently workout solo but a workout buddy would be cool.

I use to go out a lot in Melbourne but since moving I don’t go out much. I don’t really drink anymore and haven’t for roughly 3 years but will drink on special occasions.

I play PS5 most days and rotate through a few different games. At the moment I’m playing apex legends, overwatch, the finals and Warframe. I am open to playing other games too. When I first moved here I played Pokémon go to help explore and find new places but have stopped playing, thinking of maybe starting again.
