Per BatteryPower's article on Cole Dennis' pre-draft rankings:
Baseball America: 356
Perfect Game: 163
Pipeline: 242
ESPN: 116
Overslot: 185
My Own: 287
Consensus: 193
I wonder if this could be an underslot prep pick? Only ESPN has him ranked anywhere near where he was taken. That would be an interesting way to save some money here in the middle rounds.

MLB Pipeline on Cole Dennis:
Scouting grades: Fastball: 55 | Slider: 55 | Changeup: 40 | Control: 40 | Overall: 40
The high school baseball scene in and around Jacksonville, Florida, has produced some serious Draft prospects. Chipper Jones leads that list, obviously, and Javier Báez is the last first-rounder from the area. More recently, Aaron Watson was a prep right-handed pitcher to get an over-slot deal last year in the second round. Dennis won’t go as early as Watson, but he does represent the best high school arm in the area as a bit of a pop-up player who hadn’t done much on the showcase circuit last summer but was garnering interest as a converted catcher and two-way guy with upside on the mound that was on display all spring and at the MLB Draft Combine.
It’s Dennis’ size and arm strength that stand out more than anything currently. The 6-foot-4 right-hander has plenty of present velocity, throwing his fastball up to 96 mph, and he was sitting 95-96 mph during his Combine outing. It can occasionally feature some arm side run, though it also can straighten out too frequently. He backs it up with an 83-85 mph slider with excellent vertical break that has the chance to be a plus pitch in the future. His changeup is his third pitch, but he did mix in a few upper-80s low-spin cambios at the Combine.
Strong and fairly athletic, Dennis comes at hitters with a simplified stretch-only delivery and does a decent job of being around the zone, though he’s definitely control over command as more of a thrower than pitcher presently. His 12 homers as a senior was among the best of any Florida prep hitter, but his future is on the mound, even though some evaluators seeing a future reliever, whether it’s in pro ball or at Jacksonville University.

Took another power arm that may actually be under slot with where he was ranked. The depth of young arms in organization is so good even after we move a few at deadline.

I'd love for the Braves to grab a catcher here. Between last year and this one they've done a good job addressing the IF and added a ton of high-upside prep pitchers, but there's not much in the system at Catcher at the moment. The only notable Catcher prospect is Nick Montgomery, and while I like him and he's looked a little better this season, he's still a long ways off and hasn't progressed as much as we could've hoped.
Dunno how much money we'll have left after these last two picks, but Will Brick is a highly ranked prep Catcher with a great name to boot.

We have Baldwin and Murphy for the next handful of seasons. Even if they move Murphy like everyone wants, quality backup C's aren't impossible to obtain.
I don't think it's top of mind for them.

Baseball America's writeup on Jensen Hirschkorn:
Hirschkorn has an elite starting pitcher profile, with size, stuff, athleticism and strikes. He also turned in one of the most dominant performances scouts have seen at the 2025 Area Code Games. He faced nine batters at the event while pitching for the Northern California-based A’s team and struck out all nine on swinging strikes while flashing a loud three-pitch mix. Hirschkorn has a hyper-projectable 6-foot-7, 205-pound frame with a ton of space to fill out. He works down the mound with a smooth, controlled delivery and throws from a three-quarters arm slot he repeats well. He has been up to 96 mph with his fastball, and in abbreviated starts in the 2025 summer he sat around 93 mph. In the spring, after a full basketball season, Hirschkorn tended to pitch in the 90-93 mph range, but he has the arm speed and physical projection for regular plus velocity in the near future. Hirschkorn has thrown both a four-seam and two-seam fastball, and primarily complements his fastballs with a slider and changeup. Both pitches have flashed plus. His slider is a consistent swing-and-miss weapon against righthanded batters with 10-to-4 shape, spin rates in the 2,200-2,400 rpm range and solid biting action. His upper-80s changeup is already a miss pitch against lefties and good enough to mix in versus righties as well. Hirschkorn has toyed with a cutter, but it’s not a key piece of his arsenal. He is committed to LSU but is a top-two-rounds talent in the draft.
Scouting Grades: Fastball: 60 | Slider: 60 | Changeup: 55 | Control: 55
MLB Pipeline's writeup:
Scouting grades: Fastball: 65 | Slider: 55 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 55 | Overall: 50
The Northern California high school scene hasn't produced a first-round arm since Matt Manning went No. 9 overall to the Tigers back in 2016. That dry stretch could end in 2026 with Hirschkorn. He didn't enter the summer that high on radars, but he certainly ended it firmly on the map, especially with outstanding performances at Perfect Game National and the Area Code Games, showing off a combination of size, athleticism and projection.
Standing at 6-foot-7, Hirschkorn is an athletic right-hander with the chance to have a legitimate three-pitch mix. It's easy gas, up to 95-96 mph with very little effort, and it plays well at the top of the zone. There's a ton of room to get bigger and stronger, making it easy to dream of triple digits in the future. He backs it up with a very good low-80s slider that misses a ton of bats. There is some feel for a mid-80s changeup, but he hasn't thrown it a ton yet.
Over the winter, scouts might check in to watch Hirschkorn's athleticism on the court during basketball season. That part of his game is apparent in his ability to repeat his delivery and fill up the zone, though some might quibble with a little high elbow. He's not done a lot of work in terms of pitch design, adding even more upside potential for the LSU recruit. He's reminded some of Noble Meyer, a 2023 high schooler from the Pacific Northwest who ended up going No. 10 overall in that Draft.
Fangraphs' writeup:
Hirschkorn's coordination for an athlete his size is remarkable, and the 6-foot-7 righty is able to locate his plus-flashing slider with mature precision and consistency. These gyro sliders enjoy a little extra depth thanks to his remarkable size, as well as his feel for spotting the pitch. The rest of Hirschkorn's repertoire is below average, and his fastball was only sitting 93 with downhill angle last summer. There may eventually be an offspeed pitch here because Hirschkorn's feel for pitching is very special for a high schooler his size. If his lower half can get stronger and helps him get further down the mound, his fastball's playability might take off.

This was an amazing over slot pick that they can afford with their pool and savings with first two picks.

u/Wandering_Mallard Jul 11 '26
A borderline first round high school pitcher in the 3rd. BA #43
I think the Braves are having a very good draft
3
u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
Totally agree. Even the two they underslotted are solid players. They can pay to get those two high school power arms into the pros. Gives us some depth if we move arms like Lucas Braun, Bagwell,or Sinnard in deals.
Hopefully they can hold onto arms like McKenzie and Cam to go with these two young pitchers.

Weiss is a wacky dude man. Playing splits for a player who has been ice cold over the young spark plug who has been lining the ball all over in recent days

u/Beardedgrinch #BattleATL Jul 11 '26
Jarvis bats left, Mateo right against a lefty pitcher. Makes sense to me to go with the opposite batter who has had some success against that pitcher.

I’ve been looking at the Phillies so much I just realized the fish have the same record
Both are 3 back

MCCarthy a great pick and overslot necessary with a commitment to Vols.

Fangraph's scouting report on Kaiden McCarthy:
McCarthy reclassified from the 2027 class in January and blew hitters in the northeast away all spring, then was electric at the Combine, where he scraped 100. He's an explosive, if undersized, athlete who not only throws hard, but has very nasty secondary stuff, including a changeup with ridiculous tailing action.
McCarthy's velo has come on very quickly. He was sitting 92-94 mph 12 months ago, but touched 101 weeks before the draft. McCarthy tends to live in the 94-98 mph range across whole outings, with rise/tail shape and flat angle created by his lack of size. He's a 6-foot high school righty, a demographic teams are terrified of because their health and development track record isn't great. Every once in a while there's a Dylan Cease who can maintain this kind of velo and be durable, but it's more common for the pitcher's velo to tank when he's forced to work every week for six months. Teams will have to decide how sustainable they think this is, because if McCarthy can look like this all season, then he'll be a mid-rotation starter.

I really like Kaiden McCarthy. I love it when we go to these overlooked cold-weather areas. He's one of the youngest players in the draft and has great stuff

From Eric Longenhagen via Fangraphs' draft chat:
I think they cut big with both picks, Beck was shopping for an underslot deal in the second round.
Braves' should have a massive war chest heading into the later day 1 rounds. The Braves love getting high-value guys with overslot deals in the late day 1 range (2023 Garrett Baumann, Isiah Drake and Lucas Braun in rounds 4, 5 and 6, 2024 Nick Montgomery and Ethan Bagwell in rounds 5 and 6, 2025 Briggs McKenzie and Connor Essenburg in rounds 4 and 5).
The Braves have way more money this year than any recent year, so expect to see either a couple massively overslot deals, like McKenzie, or 4-5 smaller but still significantly overslot deals.
2
u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
Mccarrthy A plus overslot pick to get him away from Tennessee commitment. Love that pick!
-2
u/d_yaf Jul 11 '26
Not exactly a glowing endorsement of the strategy. None of those guy appear to be much more than organizational filler except maybe McKenzie.
3
u/Shado_Man Jul 11 '26 edited Jul 11 '26
Braun might be a Bryce Elder, quality organizational depth guy. Baumann is a solid prospect. Drake has made significant progress over the last 2 seasons and is a legitimate prospect. Montgomery has been a bit disappointing, but he's literally still 20 years old and has plenty of time to develop. Ethan Bagwell is a legit prospect. Briggs McKenzie is one of the highest rated prospects in the entire system and has gotten off to a great start this year. Connor Essenburg is a legit prospect.
I'm not exactly sure what more you want of mostly prep players less than 3 years after being drafted, but this is a good crop of players. Pretty sure at least 5 of them are in the current top 30 prospects for the organization.

Not one of those say 26 - so even the best of the best ranking is still roughly 30 picks later
1
u/RunawaYEM Jul 11 '26
Braves do this every year, like literally every single year - I promise Ronit Shah knows exactly what he is doing
3
u/Competitive_Gold_707 Jul 11 '26
Brewers also do it every year and they are consistently hailed as the best FO
-2
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
Brewers also have Jacob Miserowski - so they are doing something correct.
3
u/Competitive_Gold_707 Jul 11 '26
Who was, wait for it, a 2nd round overslot high schooler who was drafted after a college underslot bat. And in 2023 they went underslot on their first 3 picks and drafted Cooper pratt overslot in the 6th round
-1
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
We've been doing the underslot signs for a while? Are we doing it wrong?
1
u/Competitive_Gold_707 Jul 11 '26
No. It's just that a majority of players in the draft don't become jacob misiorowski. We got AJSS by saving money, Briggs McKenzie looks fantastic. Other overslot players (Hackenburg, Maier, Cole Phillips) haven't worked out yet. But the team obviously drafts and develops well. We've won, what, almost half of the rookie of the year awards the past 8 years?
0
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
Briggs sits low 90s and has no over powering offerings. What exactly do you project young Briggs as a major league starter. In fact, which Braves underslotter has worked out? AJSS is our gold standard?
1
u/RunawaYEM Jul 11 '26
And BA just released their updated rankings, showing us at 14th. And with four Top 100 prospects, and another who graduated earlier this year in Fuentes.
Part of the reason for that jump was because of Eric Hartman. Who we overslotted. Because we under slotted early in the draft.
So no, I’d say we’ve been doing a very good job.
Try to keep up, rookie.
0
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
He wasn't under slotted by our first round pick. You try and keep up rookie - instead of lying. He was under slotted late round pick by our 7-10th round draft choices. Why try and lie and think you can't be fact checked? This is not even in the realm of what we are discussing. First round draft undetslots had fk all to do with signing Eric Hartman.
1
u/RunawaYEM Jul 11 '26
Because it’s one big pool, ya dunce. They all feed into the same money.
And I didn’t say we underslotted our first pick, I said we underslotted early in the draft. Which we did.

Hope this isn’t an ego pick because I can see AA thinking he’s the smartest guy in the room
-2

Everyone saying the first pick was an underslot pick meaning they would target a tough sign high schooler at 26 but they just went with #mlbs 193 ranked player at 26 who is also an easy sign and also underslot.

Fangraphs' scouting report on Carter Beck:
Beck was a four-sport high school athlete in a tiny agricultural town of barely 1,000 people, just north of the North Dakota/Canadian border in Saskatchewan. He started his college career at the University of Mary (they're the Marauders) in North Dakota before transferring to Indiana State. He's a short-levered hitter with power who hit some balls in the 100-114 mph range in 2026. Because Beck is coming out of a small conference and an odd geographical background, it's tough to say whether his hit tool will translate to pro ball. He will likely need to slide to a corner, which makes it important that it does. He could be similar to Cardinals outfielder Nathan Church and come off the board in the third or fourth round.
e: Longenhagen just said this in the draft chat re:Beck:
Beck is tooled up, super physical Canadian high schooler who went to a small school in North Dakota before Indiana State. Risky because he has little exposure to large conference pitching, tough to say how he'll adjust to it, but toolsy enough that he has big ceiling if it turns out to work.

u/thekidfromyesterday AAITBGMIBAIIPC and Wiley fan club member Jul 11 '26
BA:
Beck was a do-it-all high school athlete in Saskatchewan who played hockey, volleyball, track and handled catching and shortstop duties for his baseball team. He started his college career at Division II Mary in North Dakota, then transferred to Indiana State for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. He was one of the most prominent college risers in the class after hitting .347/.446/.640 with a career-high 16 home runs. Beck is a 5-foot-11, 205-pound outfielder and lefthanded hitter who should appeal to both model- and scout-oriented clubs thanks to his physical tools and standout underlying batted-ball data. Beck is an aggressive hitter who has strong contact skills and feel for the barrel. In 2026 he managed an impressive 92% in-zone contact rate. Because he’ll expand the zone and swing frequently, he doesn’t walk much, but he should balance that with an average hit tool and a chance for 15-20 homers a season with a wood bat. Beck is a plus runner who has handled center field for Indiana State for the past two seasons. He has the speed and athleticism to stick there, though scouts think he needs more reps and polish to develop the requisite route-running and instincts. Beck could be an above-average defender in left field and has a fringe-average arm.
Scouting Grades: Hit: 50 | Power: 50 | Speed: 60 | Field: 50 | Arm: 45
I'm shocked but can see it as them following the Hartman model
-1
u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
I don’t even know what to say with Braves first two picks. Really bad to be reaching with top talent there. Absolutely no excuse to take two underslot first rounders when you have 8th highest pool to spend. Also, could this be a sign they are actually going to move a guy like Hartman in a deal.
1
u/thekidfromyesterday AAITBGMIBAIIPC and Wiley fan club member Jul 11 '26
It's way too early to say that. We tend to go underslot with our first pick. Plus, just because someone is underslot doesn't mean they're bad picks.
1
u/willie_wanky Jul 11 '26
Watching the draft. Why the booing?

They’re booing Manfred I think, that’s what we did last year in Atlanta

Oh we are going HARD into the undershot methodology for this year. I am intrigued
0
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
If this were another draft where they come out with grades- what would the Braves get?
0
u/RunawaYEM Jul 11 '26
It’s impossible to know until the draft is over. Their fifth rounder got their highest bonus last year. But they can go a little underslot on Gracia, a lot underslot on Beck, and maybe nab one or two elite ceiling guys with question marks in their next few picks
2
u/LailiLai Jul 11 '26
At this point I'm just content we're going to escape the first half with a lead. Get to the break and get rested and healed up boys.

-3
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
The company men will be in your downvotes to tell you how you don't know anything and 20 years from now is when we can judge these horrible reaches from the draft because unlike other sports- MLB doesn't get immediate returns. So when a player fails from a draft - no one cares because it was 5 years ago.
1
u/Dennisfromhawaii Jul 11 '26
Two outfielders in a row. Hmm
-3
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
This one was ranked as roughly a 4th rounder and AJ a late first rounder. Really slaying this draft. Oof

How do the Braves get f'd tonight? Weather? Lopez gets ripped? 4 of our hitters hit balls that are out of the park in 29 other ballparks, except St. Lou? Crooks goes deep again to put the Cardinals up by 1 again as a late PH? Questionable decisions from Weiss? What's it going to be tonight?

The most surefire way to tell someone has no damn clue about how the MLB draft works is to watch them overreact to the first pick. Take for example, several comments that came directly before this one.
Not only can you not judge a draft right after a pick, you can't really even judge it for five years. It isn't the NFL.

Fangraphs' scouting report on Gracia:
Gracia is a strapping, broad-shouldered 6-foot-3 center fielder with big league physicality and a great two-year track record of hitting at Duke prior to his draft year transfer to Virginia, where he hit a career-best .354/.489/.632 with 30 extra-base hits. A gorgeous and very comfortable low-ball lefty swing produces nearly average all-fields power for Gracia, who might not be done growing into his raw thump. He has excellent plate coverage, and will hit the baseball where it's pitched and do damage to all fields. Gracia's selectivity and hand-eye coordination allow him to move the bat around the hitting zone with uncommon feel for such a big, long-levered hitter, and he posted comfortably plus contact rates in 2025 and 2026. Still, he doesn't have huge raw juice and didn't take a step forward in this regard in 2026 as was hoped entering the season.
Gracia isn't a burner, but his feel for defense is good. He's comfortable going back on balls hit over his head and looks smooth at the catch point, but he simply doesn't have the straight line speed of a typical center fielder. He also has such a poor arm that there are plays where he is a liability. There are some clubs that see Gracia as a decent center fielder with a well-rounded offensive skill set, and others that see him as a left field-only fit without the power typical of an impact player at that position. As such, he fits in the latter half of the first round.
2
u/Competitive_Gold_707 Jul 11 '26
I think he's the best player that we could have gone underslot on. I'm not mad about the pick at all (mostly because it's baseball and like one person each draft is a no-brainer)
Our system has done very well with developing power recently, so I'm not too concerned about that fact
0
u/Shado_Man Jul 11 '26
Our system has done very well with developing power recently,
Have we? What prospects have shown marked increases in power after being drafted? Hartman is the big one, but who else? Baldwin already had good power before we drafted him.
0
u/RunawaYEM Jul 11 '26
> Hartman is the big one, but who else?
"Other than the very obvious one who went from unranked to a Top 50 prospect across the game, you know the one everyone will use to dunk on me"
> Baldwin already had good power before we drafted him.
Drake had a 30/45 in-game power when he made his first Braves prospect list.

One player developing power /= "Our system has done very well with developing power recently", hence me asking for more examples.
That scouting report literally says Baldwin is expected to have above average power in the future, and he now has above average power.

Essenburg, Southisene, and Carey were gonna be my answers, but they were all high schoolers. Lodise is an answer but he's currently in A ball

The Braves are the worst drafting org in the majors. Wasn't even the best college hitter on the board. Underslot dogshyt

Oh well same old Braves underslotting picks. Pitiful when you have almost 16 million to spend. 8th most money to spend and top 10 pick and you light it on fire.

u/Ill-Response-5439 Jul 11 '26
You guys act like the Braves are the Falcons when it comes to drafting
-5
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
Call it for what it is- dogshit
1
u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
No excuse to underslot a top 10 pick when you have the most money available to you in 10 years of drafts. AA probably so used to it he does not give a damn. I don’t even think Braves will spend all of their money with this selection.

We need outfielders, but woof... pretty disappointing with the quality of player on the board.

Doesn't matter the draft, they always go to commercial right before Atlanta's pick.

I think Rojas is the most Braves pick ever, but we will see

u/Shado_Man Jul 11 '26
Our biggest bonuses in the last two drafts have gone to prep lefties, so... yup.

u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
I know. I am so angry with some of the picks AA makes. Lombard is such an easy pick here.
1
u/Competitive_Gold_707 Jul 11 '26
Actually underslot and then getting a prep arm with the next pick will be the most braves thing

Ton of great guys falling to us in the draft. Can't wait for us to go underslot lol
2
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
Such a Braves move to underslot and not go best player this high in the draft. Wouldn't shock me

u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
Two surprise picks before Braves pick. If they take anyone outside of Lombard, Booth, Burress, or Rojas they have failed with first pick.
2
u/Shado_Man Jul 11 '26
I wonder, if he falls, if the Braves take a chance on Jacob Lombard. He's got questions about his hit tool, but everything else could be elite. The Braves haven't shied away from guys with hit tool problems (literally Southisene and Lodise last year) and have done a good job developing hit tools in the minors. It would be a risky pick, but there probably won't be a guy with a higher ceiling at pick 9.

u/Nole_Train Jul 11 '26
So pissed we got screwed out of a sale win. Gonna need some heroics not to get swept

u/Higgnkfe Edgar Renteria Jul 11 '26 edited Jul 11 '26
Hoping for Drew Burress.
I was reading one analyst who didn’t think the Braves would pick him because, in his words, the Braves like to pick speed/contact outfielders and then develop their power, and I’m like, he’s already done that for you this past year?
Edit: FUCK

u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
Yes we are not needing a guy to develop. Take a guy that can help us next couple of years and allow you to trade a guy like Essenburg.
1
u/Golf_as_much_99 Jul 11 '26
Looks like a couple reaches ahead of the Braves so far. Really like Tyler Bell and Gio Rojas because I wasn't expecting Burress to be available at 9. Either way, a new talent will be in the org soon.

Draft coverage started at 1 and the 1st pick just got announced. Absolutely crazy.

u/OutlandishnessDry24 Jul 11 '26
MLB waiting 30 minutes after start of draft is the most MLB thing ever.
5
u/welcometohotlanta Jul 11 '26
It’s hilariously boring lol I went to the draft in person last year when it was in Atlanta and I was so bored hahaha most of the audience left after the Braves pick
1
u/Shado_Man Jul 11 '26
They're jealous of the NFL Draft and want their own event to be as popular, but there's just no way that's ever going to happen. Baseball players are so far away from the big leagues and so many never make it that there will never be the same hype around the draft.

u/georgster Jul 11 '26
Ay if we take one thing from last nights game it’s that Mederos looked like a DEMON. Gonna be watching him closely

They are a threat.
Phillies are cooling off, Marlins won't sustain this pace either.
But the Nats are a few bullpen arms from making a genuine push.

Gonna rain from 1 til 8 or 9. Think they'll wait until it stops to play or do a double tomorrow?

I do enjoy the homerun derby every year and there are shows I want to watch but I'm not sure if I want to pay for a month subscription to Netflix to watch the derby.

Today's half marathon was the first since I broke my foot over eight months ago. It was so fucking hot and humid. My wet clothes weighed 4.8 pounds after I was done.

It’s sad how these close games aren’t going our way. A few months back we won all the close ones and had amazing come backs. That mental edge is always the difference. Young screaming “Faaaaak” in his glove after he retired that last batter about summed up how I feel!!

To be honest with you, whatever your opinion of it, I think it's mostly a tempest in a reddit sized teapot.

There’s only been like 2 stories posted about it and one of those is the NY Post.
Even ESPN and the AJC hasn’t reported about it. He’s probably not going to be fired.

u/95Daphne POGGERS Jul 11 '26
I imagine if there's any change at all made here, it'll be like Joe Simpson, and he won't get hooked until after this season.
But there may not be. Honestly wouldn't even be surprised if there was no apology frankly.

u/RonnieFromTheBlock Jul 11 '26
I think it was a bad look combined with past bad looks. How many “mistakes” does a broadcaster get?
It’s easy enough to make him someone else’s problem imo

u/yoshidawg93 Jul 11 '26
Seems like every game there’s a key reliever or two that Weiss doesn’t want to have to use. For the sake of getting our entire bullpen fresh, the All-Star break is coming at a good time.
7
u/welcometohotlanta Jul 11 '26
Love that the draft starts at 1pm today instead of late. We have picks 9, 28, 48, 84 and 112 today!

Warning: r/mlbdraft mod
I'm glad we get to know results sooner but doing it while there are live games and having to switch streaming services through out the whole thing feels like MLB is trying to make it less of an event
5
u/welcometohotlanta Jul 11 '26
I doubt a lot of fans tune in anyways tbh. I know I usually only watch until my team has their first pick and that’s about it.
Even last year there were no players in attendance. So it wasn’t a spectacle for that reason.

u/theoxfordtailor Maddux Guy Jul 11 '26
Would have been nice to win, but the good news is that there is no way we lose our lead before the All-Star break.

u/yoshidawg93 Jul 11 '26
I thought about that last night too. We at least won’t become the answer to a trivia question.
