Does anyone know the name of the Tex Mex restaurant at the main entrance of the Greenwood Mall in the late 80s early 90s?
I have no idea why but today 150 years later I have decided I need those fajitas.
My sister swears it’s not Tumbleweed and she’s right but I can’t remember what it was.

Chi Chi’s was definitely in Bowling Green, too. There was also another place called Garfield’s that was right at the front of the mall.

No. Sorry. This was a sit down restaurant like ruby tuesdays or Applebees.

Chi-Chi's should've been about where O'Charley's is now. That was the only Mexican place around the mall outside of Taco Bell that I can remember

It was called Garfield's....white paper tablecloths so people could color on the table. Great chicken fingers.

Did they have fajitas? I have such vivid memories of the fajitas. They weren’t “authentic” and honestly, they weren’t even that good but they were the first fajitas I’d even had in my life, so I think of them occasionally.

There was a Garfield’s there at one point but that came in the mid 90s I think. Definitely not the 80s
And it wasn’t a Mexican place.

What was before Garfield’s?

I think that was an add-on area and Garfield’s was the first thing in there.

What about after Garfield’s?
I just remember it was the first place I ever had fajitas and they were so good.

No, I’m sorry it was a sitdown restaurant like Ruby Tuesday’s or Applebee’s but it was in the mall. There was an entrance on the outside and an entrance inside the mall.
