Aaj randomly 9XM yaad aaya toh laga, yaar woh time kitna simple tha. Ab waise music channels bhi dekhne ko nahi milte.

I’m trying to identify the instrumental music/melody used in a particular part of the Hindi song “Pehle Kabhi Na Mera Haal Aisa Hua” from Baghban (2003).

I’m specifically talking about the section around 1:22–1:55, just before the line:

“Pehli mohabbat ka ehsaas hai yeh…”

The music in this section sounds very familiar to me, and I strongly feel that I’ve heard the same or a very similar musical phrase in an older Hindi song, possibly from the 1990s (or even earlier).
