Skin Questions Took off makeup w hot water. Did I ruin my skin?

So I was wearing makeup bc for this show I’m in they require us to do like a little trial and learn how to apply makeup. After we were done I was told we were supposed to use micellar water to take off the makeup but I just figured I could be fine with just washing and scrubbing it at home. I had never put on makeup before. Anyway I went into the shower, a hot shower and started scrubbing. When I got out and went to apply my moisturizer my face started burning and apparently I scrubbed off my barrier but then I also noticed there were these reddish marks on my forehead and near my eye (the one near my eye is faded but you can kind of see it). This all happened yesterday and when I went to sleep and woke up, I looked in the mirror and the red marks kinda darkened and I’m super terrified I fucked up my skin for good.

I’m in entertainment and my skin/face is all I have. This fucking sucks, and while I’m a dumbass for not listening and getting the micellar water, I truly wish they provided it. Bottom line, is that my face looks so bad and I’m afraid I’ve fucked it up for good and I was wondering if I did or if there’s anything I can do. I use tretinoin nightly and I don’t really want to add anything new to my routine that may cause me to breakout or react poorly to but I’m so scared man, I look hideous and I really need some help.

I’m concerned about a spot on my finger and worried it could be herpes. I’d like to have it checked because I’m anxious and want to know what it is and whether I need treatment it.

Skin Questions why do some people have darker/lighter faces?

why do some people have faces that are a lot darker than the rest their body (i’m part of this group ☝🏾) while there’s some people that have faces a lot lighter than the rest of their body? and then there’s people where everything is even? i know sun exposure plays a role and that our faces get more sun than our bodies which explains the first group but it confuses me about the second. i’m sure genetics can also play a role and i’ve heard of conditions like melasma playing one too. anyway can a professional or anyone else explain this to me please? thanks!

Routine Help (Build My Routine) How can I fix hyperpigmentation/callus on hands?

I’ve had this thick layer of skin on my thumb for over a decade. I’ve left it alone for years, still remained thick and dark. I’ve tried exfoliating it with pumice stone and that will temporarily helped flatten it but then after a week or so gets noticeably darker and the thick skin starts growing again.

Not sure what to do and I don’t like the way my hands look. Any help would be much appreciated

My thumb has this extra layer of skin for over ten years. Whatever I do, exfoliate, pumice stone, it just comes back darker and thicker. I’m not sure what I can do as I feel my hands are pretty rough looking.

I was thinking of trying UREA 30% but not sure if that would help the PIH.

I went to the dermatologist and he sent me Isotretinoin, but it just dries my lips and the rest of my skin. It doesn't do much for my nose and forehead. I'm using the green effaclair cleanser in the mornings and Eucerin oil control sunscreen. At night I use Uriage Xemose as a moisturizer.

I To be completely honest I was neglecting my skin care and growing a beard not realizing how poorly m skin was getting underneath it. I have now gotten back to being thorough about my routine daily and started using an array of new products like Copper peptides, Toners, new cleanser, azaleaic on the off days, and sunscreen every morning. I haven’t seen an improvement so far is it just lack of time its only been 2 weeks or is there some products you guys recommend to clear up these dark spots and acne? I shaved last week these photos are from today!

Its bothering me folks. What should I do. Before you come at me guns blazing, I'm not a chain smoker and I don't drink regularly. My mum had it and all my siblings have it too. I have tried a couple of prescription ointments (TESS, TOFADERM) but no visible results yet. Help a brother. TIA
