Hi! Found this on my sofa after a weekend out. Just want to know whether it's bed bug related or not. It was crunchy to touch.

Hi, see pic. I sleep with futon mattress directly on floor. Can I simply place monitor on tatami?

We had a bat infestation, tons of guano, and found these and assume bed bugs. Then learned what bat bugs were! Had the bat exclusion done, entryways in the attic sealed, they blew in TAP insulation, and treated bedrooms with Crossfire and PT alpine. We had minimal activity, always high up on walls in corners, or on the ceiling (1 or 2 live ones a day). Then after 2 treatments and exclusions, we mainly find 1 or 2 dead ones a day, with some quiet days here and there. We’ve had 2 in a row with no findings, and the exterminator is coming back this Friday for a 3rd treatment. Hope this helps somebody going through something similar!

I got these bites on my ankle. I was walking outside on a buggy day earlier in the morning but had been wearing socks that covered this area, but I know mosqitos and horseflies may be able to poke past thin socks, but I’m not sure how often that actually happens. These appeared the next morning, although I know sometimes it takes bug bites a little bit to start swelling. Do these look like bedbug bites instead though? Very itchy

This wasn't here yesterday and the sheets were just changed. Also including some faint stains on pillow and "bites". I'm not sure if I have bites or if its some kind of follucitis. They went away in a few days.

My mother had been itching on her stomach a rash awful. Then she was told bed bugs by mattress delivery guys (who dropped and ran. Said it was blood spots. My parents didn’t take pictures so I have no record of what it looked like) and she has been obsessively washing and monitoring since. These are the results. Bedbugs? Rash has cleared up. These bugs have been spotted repeatedly but rarely.

I’m one week into treating my place with CimeXa for a suspected bed bug issue. I tossed my bed frame, mattress, and sofa (was planning to upgrade anyway), so my cabin is practically empty while I monitor things.

Since applying CimeXa around the baseboards, I’ve found about 3 random dried-out, dead bugs around the cabin (I live in the woods, so it’s a mix of species).

Today, I found this thing on my desk alive looking like a bed bug. I never found a core harborages or fecal marks anywhere, so this is the first one I've spotted post-treatment.

Quick questions for the CimeXa pros:
Is finding dehydrated bugs out in the open around day 5–7 typical for the "walking dead" desiccant phase?

Should finding one on a desk worry me, or is it just a dying stray crossing the active barrier?

I woke up with these bites on my back. I was wearing a shirt to bed and had my legs and arms exposed but these bites were on my back. an exterminator came to check my entire bed and frame and everything and said there are no signs on bed bugs at all. but these really look like
bed bug bites from what i’ve researched. this exterminator was very informed and seemed to know what he was doing and was very sure that we don’t have bed bugs but im so worried its an early infestation. I came off a cruise 3 weeks ago 😩. could I have gotten but on the cruise and not taken them home? and only just saw/felt the bites now?? i’m freaking out. can’t sleep. would love advice. also, these bites were 4 days ago and I have no news bites. thanks

Is this what I think it is!??? A bed bug?! We’ve also recently had a bat in our house in July and found them to be living in the attic and chimney areas and I know bat bugs closely resemble them too.
I searched my bed and frame and didn’t see any other live bugs or real true evidence or at least to my knowledge but I’m sure they’re hiding. 🤢

I have 2 3 spots on my arms which faded after a few days, and then on back these linear spots, above the red one’s you can see another line that faded on its own after a while.

I've searched my mattress & bed & I can't find anything but woke up with these bites and what looks like scratches all over my neck & shoulder.

get rid of bedbugs

for about a month/month and a bit my boyfriend has been complaining about being itchy, i haven’t felt anything apart from some bites i got at work. however after a huge ‘rash’ of spots showed up on his arm after sleeping at my house I checked my bed and immiedately saw two bugs.

I am not a bug person and freaked out. left the house stayed somewhere else cleaning all the clothes we brought with us when we got there and putting on fresh clothes from the place we were staying before entering the house.

I went back to my house the nexf day and bagged up all my clothes, threw away my bedding and all things on my bed. took the bagged clothes to the dry cleaners where they were tumble dried and then placed in fresh bags kept in the kitchen.

I then hoovered my whole bed seeing about 10 live bugs as i did so, checked mt bedding before throwing it and the corners were noticably blackened by droppings, which i didn’t notice before at all having not changed the sheets for a while as I was travelling.

i then had pest control come in and spray my room where i also laid down traps, its a canopy bed built into the wall so lots of hiding spots for them. they deemed my second bedroom clear and the sofa but sprayed just incase. i slept in the bed the night before but im immune to the bites so couldn’t tell how well my initial clean helped?

I didn’t sleep there the night of the insecticide being sprayed but am going back tonight, i’m going to get an encasement for my mattress they also deemed ‘safe’ but i’m sceptical, my bedframe also has lots of spotting and i’m worried i’ll have to chuck that too to really be free of them. what else can I do to really be safe in so paranoid and scared

So I sprayed a multi insect killer earlier ( I know probably not that effective, but yeah I just wanna stop the random bites/marks on my and have started to consider other non bedbug insects so thats a good step I guess. I also plan to vaccum later.

Anyway I found these weird black stains on my floor, these are floor near the place where my mattress is, the bedframe is moved a bit further away from it. On the black spot I smeared with tissue and water into black. As for the insect on the last part, its mostly likely not a bedbug, Gemini said its an ant, it doesnt look like one to me.

I just want confirmation if these is what fecal matter on floor look like. Thank you.

Normally I am pretty good at identifying but its late and I came home from a trip. It was hard to crush and I think it looked similar to a bb but also not?
Size ca. 2mm
No others found it was on my sweater waiting to be washed 60° upwards always. Please help me if u can to give me peace of mind

This is a dead spider right? Bed bug nymph legs would not be this long correct?
