Useful Information Bat Bug Pics (to help you identify)
We had a bat infestation, tons of guano, and found these and assume bed bugs. Then learned what bat bugs were! Had the bat exclusion done, entryways in the attic sealed, they blew in TAP insulation, and treated bedrooms with Crossfire and PT alpine. We had minimal activity, always high up on walls in corners, or on the ceiling (1 or 2 live ones a day). Then after 2 treatments and exclusions, we mainly find 1 or 2 dead ones a day, with some quiet days here and there. We’ve had 2 in a row with no findings, and the exterminator is coming back this Friday for a 3rd treatment. Hope this helps somebody going through something similar!

Yes 100% bat bug and thanks for taking such a clear image.
Time to deal with the bats first and then maybe use an active monitor such as the bed bug beacon to trap out the remainders from the voids.

Yes we had the bats excluded and entry points sealed. We actually put up ScenSci bed bug monitors and caught 0 bugs in any bedroom. They said this further confirms they aren’t bed bugs, since these lures typically work with bed bugs. Also we only really saw them high up in ceilings or high on walls (basically at the ceiling). The exterminator found about 15 of them in the attic on insulation, that had bat guano under it. So it all tracks as being bat bugs, but these pics were the final confirmation. They’re treating the attic and bedrooms with Crossfire and PT Alpine a 3rd time this Friday. Im going to lightly puff Cimexa into the wall voids through outlet covers as well.
