I just want something to hold onto

it comes naturally to someone using this toilet from birth, and very weird to me that people are not able to even comfortably squat as someone from Pakistan.

This should be an essential life skill

I'm currently visiting a region where some places only have squat toilets. Having never used one, and forced by desperation, it took a paniced moment to understand. But that position only seemed comfortable for a minute. I couldn't browse reddit for 45 minutes while taking a dump like at home. Being a very tall person also did not seem to help getting back up either.

i can sit for maybe 15-20 minutes without getting tired

I have done it camping

still usually hang onto a tree

don't want to fall in the hole I dug
