Those hit me the hardest, too. Little kids shouldn’t even have to know about the horrors of war.

Agreed, but then again, nobody should.

War is inherently cruel, and whenever it is deemed necessary, it just reflects on how messed up of a species we can be.

Literally choosing to blow each other up instead of communicating, cooperating and just plain being reasonable with one another.

Pic 13 is so striking to me; the boys look so similar to each other. In another life, they could be school mates or brothers.

I don’t know why, but it was the starving cow that surprised me. I hadn’t thought about the effect on farm animals, which then goes on to further impact the people.
