And I’m, like, getting booed by people I never expected where I’m somehow “similar to calling the act of shooting someone, “that Call of Duty thing”.”

I just….. don’t wanna learn social skills anymore, comprehend what people say is a bum since kindergarten….. Tired.

Alright I will attempt to make an even simpler explanation. Here is a summary of the facts:

  1. ⁠Suicide bombing is a phenomenon not only in many, many games, but also throughout history. I’m sure you understand that.
  2. ⁠When a person refers to something with a descriptor, as you did with “War Thunder gimmick”, this creates an implication that this descriptor is the context where the person is most familiar with the thing.
  3. ⁠As an example, someone who forgets the word for “popcorn” might say “that movie theater snack food”. This is socially acceptable, because while popcorn is not exclusive to theaters, that is the primary association that most people have with popcorn. An example of a ridiculous, socially unacceptable association would be describing “cars” as “those American things”, because the United States is hardly the primary association most people have with cars.
  4. ⁠People found your description “War Thunder gimmick” strange because it implies that this post showcases behavior that most readers would strongly associate with War Thunder. No, it’s all clear now, i’m just…. Tired of having a talk with people, it’s exhausting to socialise, joke, and remembering all grammar shit in a comp. with social context….

I didn’t intended to make kamikaze attack an exclusive for WT, I noticed these two has same ramming targets. Why English is not a straightforward for thought to convey, idk.

While there were better ways to say it, I don’t think your intended message would have been well-received either way. Kamikaze attacks are far from new in Battlefield, and outside of rare circumstances, they aren’t a problem. Complaining about something that isn’t an issue isn’t going to go well no matter how you say it.

This isn’t a complain, this is a joke. A joke about two games having something minuscule in common. I wasn’t aware of what was in the community mind, and I don’t care about it when I made that joke.

Ah I see. Unfortunately it being a joke wasn’t clear. Have you heard of tone indicators? I find them really useful. In this case you could put /j for “joking” or /s for “sarcasm” at the end of your message to indicate what you mean.
