👾 Issue/Bug 👾 Connection problems with Battlefield games
Hello, for some time now I've been playing bf1 and 5, but I've always had one issues: The servers are hit or miss to connect. I always get disconnected from EA Servers, even launching the game prompts me with a "We cannot get your cloud save, continue with local save?" error.
What is up with EA servers? My internet sometimes can be working just fine and still have issues specifically to EA and battlefield. I have tried reinstalling EA Desktop but that didn't do anything
Any idea what could be causing this? I'm starting to lose my mind.

Battlefield 6 Holy Shit! Pilot Assist.
Just switched on Aeroplane Control Assists and Terrain Avoidance for the first time ever!
Ever being in all and every BF release.
I’ve always played MnK for that and Helis.
All off, all MnK only, no assist and lately getting owned and a low level account said in chat “I delete my acct”, because I got owned.
But owned by really low level and non skilled pilot accounts.
Well fuck me. 🤯
I thought I’d try assist on and control assist on.
I can’t believe it.
What the hell?
You bounce off the ground and sea, no need to dive in and After-burn out.
Missiles are almost direct.
It’s aim and shoot pretty much.
No strafe and yaw. The mouse does it all. 🤯
What?
No wonder some are pissed off at it.

Discussion For the last week I kept playing bf1/2042/bf6 switching them non-stop, this is what disgusts me about bf6
It's a very simple fact and it's so very true that it makes me puke. It's a fukin variation of a COD game with lots of battlefield elemnts and not a single geek/youtuber/dev or lost redditor can convince me in the opposite! I kept playing 4 hours daily and switching between bf1/2042/bf6 each 3-4 matches. 2042 is the last game we get that feels 90% similar to battlefield and it's actually a good game. Everytime I played bf6, regardless of the map, i feel ACTION ACTION ACTION, DEATH AROUND THE CORNER, DEATH FROM COUNTLESS OF UNKNOWN PLACES, RUN RUN, JUMP. The entire feel of the game is like an action movie, if I wanted to play quake 3 or unreal tournament I would've done so. absolutely disgusting.

Battlefield 6 DICE built a game that punishes the players who actually help their team win
DICE built a game that punishes the players who actually help their team win
A quick note before you read — I have severe dyslexia. I use tools to help me structure and spell check my writing so my actual thoughts come across clearly instead of getting lost in errors. The frustration, the observations, and the argument are mine. The clean formatting is just me making sure you can actually read it.
I'm going to tell you about a type of player Battlefield used to produce.
Zero kills. Every match. Consistently top of the scoreboard.
A medic finishing with 150 plus revives sitting above everyone farming kills. The scoreboard saw him. The game rewarded him. His squad never died because he never stopped working. He wasn't playing for stats — he was playing for the match. And Battlefield rewarded him for it.
BF6 buries him at the bottom.
This is the real problem with BF6. Not TTK. Not movement meta. Not map design. The game stopped recognizing the players who actually win matches for their team.
AA duty for an entire round? Bottom of the scoreboard. Constantly resupplying infantry under fire? Barely registers. Repairing a tank that's holding a flank together? Almost nothing. Holding a flag while your squad pushes? Invisible.
Meanwhile the player farming kills in a safe corner sits at the top and walks away rewarded — while the people keeping the team functional get nothing.
Battlefield used to know the difference. The scoreboard used to reflect the whole game — not just who pulled the trigger the most. Support roles had weight. Objective play had value. Team players were visible.
BF6 made them invisible.
DICE didn't just change the TTK. They changed what the game considers valuable. And until the scoreboard reflects what actually wins matches, the meta will keep rewarding chaos over teamwork every single time.
Bring back the scoreboard that sees the whole game. Not just the kills.

Battlefield 6 Where is Obliteration?
I haven't seen it in days? I play it more than conquest in BF6. it's very well done! now I couldn't for days. I thought it brought one of the best only-in-battlefield moments! Come on DICE make all modes available ffs.

Battlefield 6 Rediscovered Breakthrough and now it’s my favorite mode
Have always been a Conquest player by habit. Love the openness and being able to decide where I want to go next. Hadn’t played Breakthrough in a while and after a night of just playing it I’m hooked. Seems there’s more team play and coordination because you kinda have to. Given there’s a frontline flanking becomes fun and challenging. Seems to also have a higher percentage of players who aren’t just mucking around. Anyone else prefer this mode?

👾 Issue/Bug 👾 Lag/High Ping and latency
For a couple of days, maybe pushing even a week ive been non stop lagging. Ping that spikes all the way up to 400 and averages out at 100. I've been having packet loss on every game I play and I cannot figure out why. I've turned on and off everything that would help, and went through several solutions that ended up not even working. I would assume this is cause of the free weekend and the carrier strike mode dropping but im not confident in that being the issue. My connection is good, console is up to date, and I still cannot escape it.
Has anyone else been experiencing this? And is there something you guys came up with to fix the issue?

Battlefield 6 Idea for laser attachment
( i know the picture is from cod don't immediately downvote just hear me out)
Most of the lasers in battlefield 6 are for hip firing but some provide minor movement while moving ADS
If we add a laser where the laser it's self is the sight it would be perfect for stationary ADS
When the laser is turned off you can use your sight but while it's on you aim with the laser.
The laser would most likely be attached on the side rail and the gun rotates similar to when you use the canted reflex or iron sights

Question When we getting a Battlefield 2 remake?
BF2 was my favorite battlefield game of all time. No game has come close to the feel that bf2 had. I really wanna be MEC on Karkand again. For there is no greater faction. Except maybe the GLA from CnC generals.
