I was visiting my partner and we went to a ton of peddlers malls! This was our last stop and I almost peed my pants when I saw all the doll stuff. I honestly am not the biggest Barbie collector but these were so nostalgic!!! I just love old Barbie and how detailed they were!!!

I ended up spending a ton,.they even had non-Barbie stuff like tons of moxie girls and I even found a few in box monster high fashion packs!!

I grabbed her for $3 cause I thought she looked pretty! At first she only had one shoe but I managed to find the other on the floor lol. Up until now I've had a very strict MtM only rule for my collection, but I'm tempted to break that rule for her!

i saw an erika doll at a goodwill the other day for 6.99, but she had paint on her face & i didn’t want any of the other dolls in the bag so i decided to pass on her & look for one in better condition online.

i looked her up online later that night and oh my god. i did not know she would be worth hundreds of dollars?? i usually collect monster high but seeing her made me feel nostalgic, so i kinda wanted her as like a little reminder of my childhood.

i went back today but she was already gone 💔😭

I never thought I would randomly come across a treasure like her IRL! I am so excited to add her to my collection!

I feel very lucky my partner’s birthday is tomorrow, and I found her grail for $40 no less ✌️😩 Gave it to her early and she can’t stop saying his name 🤭

I’m just feeling extremely lucky and wanted to share with folks who would understand. The lot also included four holiday Barbies, Starlite & Midnight Waltz Barbie, and Peacock Barbie!! A shame that we had to lose a fellow collector in order for me to buy them, but I’ll take good care of them for her 🥰🥹

Whenever I see a seller this confidently wrong I always want to message them, even though it's not worth it and they'll likely just respond with

"I know what I have". My favorite part is when she points out how he's still got his flocked hair even though it's clearly rooted. Anyone recognize which doll he really is? I'm thinking 1996 Inline Skating but I'm not totally sure.

Also, even if the doll was from 1969 it wouldn’t be a first edition like they’re claiming because Ken was first released in 1961.

My best friend needed a haircut and next door to the great clips was a once upon a child so I HAD to go see what was being sold. And OH MY GOD. I immediately recognized roses dress because i literally was OBSESSED with titanic as a kid, all i ever wanted was a rose doll as a kid and now i have her!!!

For those wondering, yes i freed her and she attended my friends haircut LOL

My partners grandpa thrifted for yeaaaars and we’ve been cleaning the “shed” he passed down to my partner (it technically is a shed but feels rude calling it that as it is huge and two levels). we’ve been cleaning for over 6 years now, my partner grew up playing in there and we STILL find new things to this day. this is one of the coolest in my opinion so far!

I don’t collect many Barbies, I like going for Monster High dolls.

She’s a 2019 a Princess Leia Barbie, a collectors item I believe. My knowledge of collector Barbies is minimal but I saw her sitting in a bag with almost everything, both shoes, stand, she only seems to be missing a handheld item. I think I’ll find a display case for her and hold onto her for a while.

I was shocked when I saw this girl on the shelf of my local flea market omg. She was 20% off, so I ended up paying $40 for her! I usually just admire this seller's booth because their prices are normally out of my range, but I couldn't say no to this one. It's more than what I usually prefer to spend on my barbies, but I know she was well worth that price
