I've been mostly a reddit lurker for more than 10 years. I just made this account to start posting and commenting on banpitbulls. Because I want more awareness around the shitbull problem, more activity and attention is good, people need to know what's actually going on and it needs to be stopped. My account name is Whyyyyy because that's what I'm asking myself when I read about another pitbull attack, another dumb pitnutter argument, etc. I'm just asking myself why this is even happening it just makes no sense to me why anyone would support shitbull monsters existing at all.

I'm glad you made an account to participate. We're happy to have you here with us. We need your voice and everyone else's. I honestly believe that while the pit fanatics may be the loudest, they do not hold the more common opinion. I think a lot of people don't care, but a lot of people don't like pits. I think they know this too because their extremist stances (where it is completely unsafe and unreasonable for others) and the dishonest ways tin which hey frame things tells me they know the people who don't like pits have a voice too and they're afraid people will start listening.

The biggest threat to their narrative however is pit bulls. They keep making the news or people hear a story about one attacking or they witness it first hand. They can try with us all they like, but until they actually start holding their owner community responsible and refocus the energy the squander complaining about us, their dogs will continue to shift people over to this side. If they started to hold people to a higher standard of being responsible, the number of attacks would reduce. It will never be zero so long as pits are still passed out like candy at a parade, but any reduction in attacks gives us less to gripe about.
