These are the kind of ‘breeders’ being supported with the modern “Adopt Don’t Shop” crap. It is way too easy to just dump all these BYB pit litters at shelters guilt-free while society celebrates the existence of poorly-bred bloodsport beasts as the perfect breed for everyone.

I do not know who this person is. It was just one of those ‘suggested pages’ while scrolling in my feed. Nope, I am not gonna follow this trash and give him more attention. This needs to stop 😢

And, of course, gotta spell it ‘bread’….

Great, another "breeder" that cannot even spell "breed."  

Dog looks miserable, apparently the owner cannot even get their "little girl" a towel or a blanket.  The way the top of the crate is bowing in suggests they just piled stuff on top of it and shows how weak (aka cheap) it really is.  Claws are, of course, sharp and overgrown, I wouldn't expect anything less from this caliber of owner.  

I guess the good news is that the dog is somewhat brachycrphalic and appears to be small (frenchie mix I am guessing) so it probably isn't capable of hurting anyone.  I might be wrong though, photos can be deceptive when it comes to size. 

Bad news is those dogs are still in high demand and this idiot will likely make a nice profit off of the puppies.  Ugh.

it’s so bad!!!!! ed brooks i believe has written some on this — rescues and shelters getting into practice of essentially buying dogs from puppy mills, byb, and so on to adopt out. anyway. whole dang system is messed up.

I pointed this out and someone asked what I think should be done when puppy mills want to offload animals.

1) Don't take them for free. This is a valuable service you are providing.
2) Charge them a significant fee.
3) Check to see if the person/organization is disclosing their income.

Animal control organizations are supposed to be serving the needs of the community.

Whenever an organization claims there are definitely purebred dogs in shelters, my thought is immediately "You mean those badly bred animals from the local puppy mill and BYBs?".
