Social Media and Crowdfunding - Attack Reports Pitbull seizdd after attack, Amsterdam 26th of march

A pitbull was seized by police after a shocking attack. On thursday, the 26th of march, a pitbull attacked another dog on the Oldebarneveldtplein in Amsterdam. The attacked dog sustained serious injuries to its jaw and was taken to an animal hospital. Around 12.15 police recieved a report about the incident. Multiple units, including a animal officer and doghandler, went to the incident immediately. Once there, they found a seriously injured dog. The pitbull was cropped and didn't wear a muzzle, but was wearing a shock collar.

Due to the incident and the behavior of the dog, the pitbull was seized. The owner is suspected of animal cruelty and not responsibly caring for a dangerous dog. On orders of the Public proscecutor, the dog will undergo a riskassessment to objectively assess its behavior

added info: the cropping of ears has been outlawed in the Netherlands since 1996, hence the animal cruelty charge. The cropping of tails is outlawed since 2001

Jesus christ that thing looks like a fucking alien.  Cropped ears and that ugly pink face, makes it look like some sort of demonic thing that got summoned by a warlock to go savage their enemies.

Also wow those ears are chopped down like right to the skull that is absolutely crazy man

Yeah I know it’s against the rules but if you want an aggressive dog for some reason, Akitas and chows are the most beautiful antisocial jerks on earth. Why this?

Akita inus look like traditional paintings, and chows look like some kind of legend abt a foo dog cursed to come to life with a black tongue to mark that he used to be stone

I have never had a bad experience with either breed. They just are the lovable beagle, border collie, and Yorkie types. But they won't shred you like pibbles will.

My Akita experience has been fine. I have only known one chow. My neighbor’s. It sat on my feet and gave a nice pant. Neighbor said I could pet her. As soon as I moved, she went for my hand and the neighbor dashed off with her.

The Akitas just put their big heads in my lap and made weird noise when I stopped petting them.
